Lu Lan was discussing the arrangements of the party with Si Yan, at that moment, Lu Lan's phone rang. Pausing their discussion Lu Lan looked at her phone. It was from Lu Mansion. It was rare they would ever bother with her, seeing as none of them has ever seen her as part of their family anyways. Given how they had been always treated her, the only one she ever felt worth her time was her grandfather.
Lu Lan hesitantly picked it up, after a few minutes, Lu Lan had a horrified look on her face and she froze, the phone fell from her hand on the ground after listening to the person from the other side.
Si Yan saw Lu Lan's face and immediately began to worry, he softly asked: "Sister-in-law, what happened?"
Lu Lan looked at him slowly and whispered "Grandfather…."
