From Johnathan Swift's 𝘈 π˜”π˜°π˜₯𝘦𝘴𝘡 π˜—π˜³π˜°π˜±π˜°π˜΄π˜’π˜­ to Thomas Nast's political cartoons of Boss Tweed and the Tammany Hall to US magazine, π˜›π˜©π˜¦ π˜–π˜―π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯, and The Daily Show, satire has been used to bring awareness to issues that most people would ignore otherwise.

Satire is extremely powerful, influential enough to overthrow people in power. Otpor, a Serbian civic protest group, organized a celebration of national depression to help bring light to the injustices of many Serbian authorities.
