Kaida also communicated the order, that she had given to Long and Lian through her thoughts to the other dragons, so that it would go faster.
When she had done that, she turned to Hiroki who was still screaming and losing control.
Hiroki and Aba were caught in a hurricane of wind and fire that was destroying everything within a three-mile radius and was expanding.
Kaida struggled to get closer. The closer she got the colder it got. Kaida was concerned about the cold because she knew that despite Hiroki not being affected by the cold, the dragons temperature should not drop below a certain degree.
The same was true for the people of the dragon tribe. Because the blood of the dragons flowed through their viens, their lowest body temperature was fifty degrees. Once it fell below fifty degrees it would be crucial for them.
As Kaida walked closer to Hiroki as she tried to calm him down, she felt Aba's life force diminish.
she looked anxiously at Aba lying motionless beside Hiroki
"Are you all right, are you still holding on Aba?"
Aba's head moved slowly toward Kaida, and she smiled weakly.
"I'm fine, I'm more worried about the young prince."
Kaida nodded at her and turned her attention back to Hiroki. She spoke to Hiroki in a soft and calm tone
"Hiro, Mommy is here. I'll be able to hold you soon "
Despite the fact that Kaida kept repeating that, she did not know whether she could get through to him, after all he was a child of less than 1 year and she did not know whether he understood it.
Meanwhile, Kaida had barely manage to enterd the hurricane of wind and fire in which Hiroki and Aba were trapped.
The cold in the hurricane caught her at suprise and she felt that her body temperature quickly dropped.

Just when she wanted to take a step forward, she felt that her body temperature had dropped below fifty. Kaida was several meters from Hiroki and forced herself to shorten the distance.
When she was right in front of him she collapsed on her knees and grabbed him tightly in her arms and hugged him lovingly
"Mommy is here Hiro"
The moment Hiroki smelled his mother's scent and felt her warmth, he calmed down and almost immediately fell asleep and the hurricane of fire and wind disappeared.
Kaida struggled to examine his arm, which was completely red and had a burn. With the last bit of strength she had, she absorbed the remaining heat that came of his hand.
Just when Kaida was about to a lose consciousness, she suddenly felt a greater stab in her heart again .
"Aba!"
Kaida looked at Aba, who struggled to keep her eyes open and was breathing very slowly.
"Aba, you know that I am the last person that would refuse to let you pass to the afterlife, but not like this. My only wish is that you go peacefully "
Aba's head moved slowly towards Kaida and she looked at Kaida with a small smile and a happy look in her eyes.
"Your queen, before i take the journey to the afterlife I was able to do something thanks to the young prince, that my mistress unfortunately could not. When I go, I will go peacefully. For now it is more important to awaken the young prince and yourself too. When I look at you I see that your body temperature is already less than ten degrees. "
Kaida waved her hand and straightened her back and nodded at Aba with red eyes
"Aba you are free to leave for the afterlife whenever it suits you. It was an honor to know such an honorable dragon as you. Thank you for your years of loyalty and service to the dragon tribe, I will no break our remaining connection. May you be reunited with your mistress and loved ones in the hereafter "
The moment Kaida finished talking, Aba visibly shrank in size until she was no smaller than a baby dragon.
Now that Aba was small she was able to move better and with her last strength she walked to the exhausted Kaida. She rubbed Kaida's knees with her small nose.
Kaida placed her hand on Aba's head as tears slowly streamed down her cheeks.
"Even if it is nature, it remains painful when a friend leaves us."
The moment Kaida's hand left Aba's head, Aba's body caught fire. When the fire died down, Aba body was gone.
As the dragons roared to show they were mourning a dragon that had traveled to the afterlife, Kaida fell limp to the ground with Hiroki in her hands.
