Chapter 118 - Wandering in the place of thought

Hiroki looked at the blue sky in the place of thought of Kaida and Long. He saw several dragons flying in the air and was thrilled when they spit fire.

Behind him Hiroshi and Hiromi crawled through the beautiful flower field.

As Huli and Kaida finally mastered a combined attack, Kaida had more time to focus on the dragons.

Huli and Kaida were the last couple to start training a combined attack in a formation. but they were the first to perform well no matter what formation they did together.

In addition, it was official that Kenta and Hama were engaged. all the preparations for their wedding were done by their grandmother and father, since kenta was the heir to the throne of the dragon tribe and the wedding was held there.

Kaida sat in a cross-legged pose behind them with her eyes closed and her hands towards a flame with a blue core. The flame grew bigger until it almost seemed to reach the sky.

Kaida opened her eyes and smiled.

"Now it's big enough, the flame will provide the dragons with enough energy. I will also let it burn so that they can take part of the flame to the place of thought of their masters. "

Kaida looked at the sky and sighed. Since Liula went into hiding, more dragons disappeared or came back injured. She also felt that someone was forcing to break the connection that Kaida had with the dragons.

Kaida had ordered that the dragons could fly freely but had to stay with their masters or in the south.

Kaida looked at the sky where several dragons flew. Since Kaida was the mother of all dragons, the dragons could easily appear in her and Long's place of thought.

If they were injured, Kaida could immediately provide them with the dragon flame of life and if they were dead she could immediately burn the dragons with the dragon flame of death.

Kaida frowned at the small number of dragons flying around and was very concerned. Most of the dragons that came back were not so much physically wounded but more mentally because breaking the connection that Kaida had with them was too heavy mentally.

Breaking that connection was not easy. Acquisition of a connection took place in the mind of the dragon and his or her master. In addition, with the permission of Kaida and both the dragons and the master of the dragon.

If this was done compulsively the dragon would be mentally damaged because he would resist in the place of thought.

If a dragon and / or master were injured in their place of thought it would have a major impact on them mentally and depending on the injury, in the worst cases the dragon or master would fall into a coma and never wake up again.

"Long how many dragons are missing?"

Long lifted her head and rubbed Kaida's body with her nose

" your Queen certainly more than 300 dragons have gone missing in recent times"

Kaida felt a stab in her heart. She knew that dragons had disappeared, and compared to the dragons of the dragon tribe, the number that had disappeared was not much, but for Kaida, losing only one dragon was already too much.

"Make sure only the combat dragons leave the south. I will make sure that there are enough combat dragons in the south to protect the other dragons "

Kaida knew that all dragons were strong, but there was clearly a difference in the dragons. The combat dragons were bigger, faster and stronger than the medicine dragons or the agricultural dragons. That was not surprising because every dragon received different training.

Likewise, not everyone in the dragon tribe was a warrior. Yes, as soon as the children were able to walk, they got a sword in their hand and training and everyone had taken the test of the forest. And almost everyone of the dragon tribe loved a good fight.

But not everyone had the talent to become a warrior and not everyone wanted that so they would not continue after they had completed their basic training.

While Kaida was talking to Long, the triplets had fun in the beautiful flower field. Kaida regularly took them with them so that they got used to the other atmosphere early in a place of thought.

She thought it was great that they had been able to stay in her and Long's place of thought for half a day, even thought they were only ten months old. According to her father, Kaida was not able to do that until she was one year old.

Most children of the dragon tribe formed their own place of thought after their first year of life. Before they had their own place of thought, they mainly went to the places of thoughts of their parents and their dagons. So they could get used to the atmosphere there.

Hiromi was having more trouble than her brothers. But while Hiromi could easily stay in the fox tribe's realm of thought , Hiroshi had a hard time with it at first. Hiroki had no trouble staying in both the place of thought of Kaida and Long and the fox tribe's realm of thought.

Hiroki looked up and saw a beautiful butterfly flying over his head. He raised his hands and tried to reach for it, but his arms were not nearly long enough to get close to the butterfly.

Hiroki placed his hands on the grass and raised up so that he stood upright. He staggered after the butterfly. He tried to grab the butterfly with his hands, but he couldn't.

Hiroshi who had just started walking also got up and walked behind Hiroki. He tried to stop his brother from going after the butterfly. But he was not nearly as fast as Hiroki and was not as good at walking as Hiroki.

Exhausted, he fell on his buttocks and crawled back to Hiromi. Hiromi laid on her stomach in the grass and her eyes almost closed. Hiroshi placed his head on her back and yawned. the two fell asleep within minutes.

The butterfly flew further and further away from him.

When Hiroki realized that he was not walking fast enough to keep up with the butterfly, he decided to crawl instead.

He chased the butterfly at great speed, but now that he was crawling he couldn't catch it at all.

The butterfly suddenly flew high in the sky and suddenly disappeared. Hiroki sat on the grass and looked around.

He only saw beautiful flowers around him. In the distance he saw the flame that Kaida had lit. Hiroki crawled toward the flame, but suddenly heard a snore.

He sat down again and looked at the direction the sound of the snoring was. Then he looked back at the flame and then looked back at the direction where the snoring came from with glistening eyes.

And so he decided to go to where the snoring came from.
