Haruka and Hama had been on their yourney to the elders for a month and a half and Hama was getting tired of it.
"Mommy I don't get it, why are we in other tribes within a few days, at most a week but it takes so long to travel to the location of the elders?"
Haruka watched Hama that was ridding next to her and sighed
"My dear daughter not everyone can visit the elders, this all is a test. You know that when people talk about the elders they state that they are not in the south nor the north, nor in the west nor the east. You make your journey depending on which location the elders are located. "
Hama looked confused at Haruka
"Mother I don't get it"
Haruka sighed
"My dear the journey takes so long because you have never visited the elderlw and have to take the test. I could travel straight to the location. But because I am with you there will probably be challenges on the way if I went straight to it. The location where we are going is more towards the south. So from the north we first travel to the location that are furthest from our destination and then to the nearby one and then go back to the location that lies in the middle of it. Did you not notice that we first drove west, then again to the north and then to the east?"
Hama thought and it was indeed remarkable that it seemed as if they were ridding in circles. But she didn't understand
"My dear daughter, I see you are confused, and sometimes I wonder why it is necessary. But never has anyone been able to enter one of the elders locations without permission or has someone been able to know the exact .. "
Before Haruka could finished, she avoided something and signaled to Hama that she should stop. It was that Haruka was a skilled warrior who had noticed the silver needle approaching her
"Hama something is wrong, be on guard"
Hama and Haruka quickly slipped from their fox because in the area where they were they were at a disadvantage if they stayed on their fox. The moment they stood on the ground several warriors appeared and it was clear that they had anything but good intentions.
Haruka first thought they had found the location of the elders, but when she saw that the warriors were waiting for them, it was clear that they didn't found it. She was happy that they had not betrayed the location of the elders.
She looked at the warriors and was sure they were working for Liula. She felt an anger rise but kept quiet. Without warning, the warriors began to attack Haruka and Hama.
In addition to being a seer, Hama had her father's martial arts and the warriors were clearly not a match for her. Haruka, on the other hand, was not bad in combat art and easily defended against the warriors.
But no matter how long they fought there seemed to be no end to it and when the fought for half a day it was clear that both Hama and Haruka had reached their limit. The warriors who realized that they had almost no strength left called for the archers
Haruka pushed Hama to her side and stood before her
"Run to the flame, then you will be safe"
Hama didn't know what her mother meant and wanted to stay but her mother caused a strong gust of wind that pushed Hama in the right direction.
Then she turned and wanted to make a whirlwind of snow with her cold, but she suddenly stopped as if she were frozen.
"Not now," Haruka thought, her eyes turned white and she couldn't move. What had changed that she had to get a vision right now. And the disadvantage of that was that she couldn't use her cold or her body. Unfortunately she could not stop a vision and when it came it always caught her at suprise.
The last thing she saw before her eyes turned completely white was the many arrows that approached her and then she could only hope that Hama could get away in time.
However, Hama wanted to help her mother because she saw that Haruka had a vision and would be helpless. If she did not help her, the arrows would certainly kill her mother.
She kept seeing the arrows coming closer and tried to run faster while she cried, but she wasn't fast enough. She dropped to her knees and screamed
"mom!"
She put her hands to her eyes and was determined to go with her mother. If both didn't survive, both would die.
"Is this how you treat your mother's sacrifice!"
Hama was pulled up by her arm and ended up in Teru's arms.
"Daddy?"
Teru jumped on Bai's back and gently placed Hama on Bai's back.
" How many time most i tell you, crying is useless!"
Hama looked at Teru with wide eyes and tears, and then she looked at where her mother stood. Her mother was trapped in ice and all the arrows laid next to her on the floor.
Teru jumped from Bai again and stood in front of Haruka and looked at her. When he saw her eyes regain her beautiful green color, he let the ice disappear.
Haruka tipped off her clothes and looked angry at Teru
"What that witch sent you to kidnap our daughter?"
Teru laughed back at her mockingly
"Why would she want my daughter, all of my children are worthless"
Haruka looked suspiciously at Teru, he knows for sure that their daughter was a seer. Before she could say anything, she heard Teru say
"I am here because I have given my word to Harue"
Haruka was startled and she looked anxiously at Teru, a look that hurt him more than he wanted to admit. Was he so bad in her eyes that she thought he would hurt their children?
Teru turned to the warriors who were surprised to see him and did not know what to do.
"You have the guts to attack people who you all are not worthy to touch. This is a mistake that you will have to pay with your life "
Running towards the warriors, he was stopped by a wall of fire coming from nowhere.
"Sister Kana it looks like we have unwanted visitors."
A boy who was tall for his age slowly came walking towards them. He had black, long curly hair, the ends of his hair were red. His eyes were black and had a red glow. He was wearing a red cloak of dragon scales and looked arrogantly at the people present.
Suddenly something went past a warrior in a flash and his head flew into the air. Everyone was stiff with fear and Teru himself had to swallow
"Brother Kanea, it looks like we can enjoy ourselves today"
A little girl who looked like her other four sisters suddenly emerged from the fire. She had long black curly hair that just reached above her buttock. The roots of her hair were red and the rest was black. She had black eyes with a red border around it.
She wiped the blood from her sword and grinned at the remaining warriors.
