Chapter 29 - Huli and Fu

Hu looked surprised at Huli

"And what if they have questions about the return of the queen"

Huli took Kaida by the hand and walked towards his fox

"tell them it would have to wait until tomorrow"

he helped kaida on his fox and nodded to Rei and Kyro, then climbed his fox and they drove together towards the forest.

When Huli drove to the forest with Kaida, he heard a voice

"Master, this is the first time you have someone other than you ride me. I can clearly feel the energy of the dragons now she is sitting on my back. I don't think it would be long before the dragons appear "

Huli looked at his fox and answered him with his thought

'mm Fu it has been a long time since I heard your voice I thought you were still mad at me? We will see if the dragons appear or not. She has aroused my interest, we will see what the future brings.'

Hu remained bewildered and watched them go. Why am I now obliged to entertain the council members? I was going to sleep! I hope he is grateful to me and gives me a good reward!

Rei and Kyro watched them and then walked back to their horses. Kyro took Kaida's horse and looked at Rei.

"Shall we go my dear? I long to see our children and relax. "

Rei smiled at him

" it has been four long days, it is high time that we hug our children again!"

....

Kaida loved to feel the wind through her hair again. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the wind on her cheeks and the scent of the forest. She was shocked when Fu suddenly started to run much faster. She opened her eyes, startled, and tightened her grip around Huli's waist.

When Huli felt that her grip tightened, he smiled and held her hands.

"Hold on tight Fu is the fastest fox of the fox tribe. Since you have driven on Jiro you can compare the speed "

Kaida looked at Huli and found him breathtakingly attractive with a smile on his face.

"So your fox is called Fu and that of Hu is called Jiro. Fu is indeed running fast. But I am sure that Long will fly faster "

Huli looked back and looked at Kaida. She had a naughty sparkle in her eyes and looked at him teasingly as she leaned her chin on his back. Is she teasing me now?

'Fu don't hold back anything, go faster apparently she is used to it. I want to be at the village in an hour '

When Fu heard his master's thoughts, he accelerated his speed and started running faster. As she approached the end of the forest, Fu made a high jump and easily jumped across a wide river and continued her way at a faster speed.

Kaida looked with wonder at the landscape she passed. Fu was indeed much faster than Jiro! When they had been traveling for some time, they passed a small cabin in the forest. The cabin looked dull and worn out. But the fields around it looked well cared for.

Even though they went by the cabin with a flist, the cabin stood out because she could clearly recognized the healing herbs that were harvested on the land.

It reminded her of her aunt's garden.Kaida moved her head to Huli's ear and wanted to ask him something. But because Huli felt movement behind him, he turned his head to turn to Kaida. This made their faces less than five cm apart.

Kaida looked into his eyes. He was so close and was looking so intense at her. His eyes were so beautiful blue that they hypnotized her. Her eyes strayed to his lips. She still wondered why he has not yet taken the initiative to kiss her.

She wondered what kind of kiss he would give her. Would it be tender and soft or rough and hard? What if it's an uncomfortable and inexperienced kiss? Would it be her fault because it would be her first kiss?

Huli was a little surprised to see Kaida's face so close. He saw that her beautiful ruby eyes had strayed further down. Is she looking at my lips? Is this a sign that she wants a kiss? Should I kiss her now? he has so many questions that he could not answer with certainty. He looked at her lips and felt the desire to know how her full lips would feel on his.

'I'm just going for it!'

Huli put his hand on her neck and slowly came closer. He saw that Kaida was looking at him again and was slowly approaching him. When they were less than an inch apart, she closed her eyes. Then suddenly Fu stopped and Huli heard a voice in his head.

"Master we have arrived at the village"

Huli saw that Kaida had opened her eyes again and had red cheeks. Because of Fu's absurd stop, she had withdrawn and was at a distance from him. Huli spoke irritably in his thought

'Fu! Are you really still mad at me, it's been five years! didn't I came back alive! How can you ruin such a good atmosphere in such a way?'

Fu began to move her body violently as if she wanted to shake them off her back. Huli jumped off Fu and helped Kaida from her back.

He looked at Fu irritated. And wanted to say something. Before he could open his mouth, Fu stepped forward and lowered her head so that her head was at the same height as Huli's head.

Fu looked angry at Huli and growled

"alive? Is this what you call alive! To this day, I have never seen you smile like five years ago. You went to battle without me! We were born together and we will die together. Where my master goes I go! But no, when you needed me the most I was not there because you had left me "

Huli saw a tear running down Fu's fur. His irritation disappeared immediately. He reached out and stroked her fur.

'I would never leave you without good reason. At the time, the enemy had toxic smoke which only affected the foxes. You know how many foxes have died or are no longer able to fight. Like you said we were born together. In my darkest days you were and are my light. I would always take the chance to save you.'

Kaida looked at Fu and Huli and felt she shouldn't get in between the two. It was visible that the two had friction. She wondered if the two could also communicate together.

In the dragon tribe it is normal for a dragon to communicate with his master. Even though they understood each other, it is only the mother of all dragons who, in addition to their thoughts, could also hear their voice.

Kaida was so busy in her thoughts that she did not realize that Huli had come closer and  spoke to her until he tapped her back

"huh I'm sorry what did you say?

Huli took her hand and pointed to the large empty surface.

"at First this area was beautifully covered with the most beautiful flowers of the Fox tribe. But the decisive battlefield here sprayed the flowers with blood and every flower was destroyed. after five year only grass and no beautiful flower grow here. As if the ground still mourns our fallen comrades. "

Kaida looked at the empty surface and then at Huli again. She saw him look ahead with a sad look. In his eyes she saw an indescribable grief, as if he had lost something dear in this place. She squeezed his hand softly and gave him a warm smile with which she wanted to tell him that she was there for him.

Huli felt reassured by her, but he couldn't hide his thoughts about the decisive night.
