Xie Zhuojun had a déjà vu. He felt like he had been fooled so many times before. The past flashed before his eyes. Everytime in the past, the feeling lasted only for a few moments and was so transient that he could just turn the other way and pretend like nothing happened. He could just ignore it all and bury his head in the sand.He always chose the easier option and provide Shangguan Rouxue with the benefit of the doubt.
This time though, it was different. The feeling was so vivid that there was no mistaking it. He just wanted to leave right away.
He broke into a cold sweat, thereby wetting his expensive shirt.
Shangguan Rouxue, who had had a fall,had already spoilt her gown. She was in pain, due to the fall, but what made things worse was that Xie Zhuojun didn't come to her rescue like he usually did. In fact, he wasn't even remotely concerned.
