Liyu Science & Technology was named after her mother, Huang Liyu, because when the company was established, she had invested 5 million yuan in the company, thereby owning 90% of the total assets of the company. The remaining 10 % was invested by her father Shangguan Zheng. The company was established at the proposal of Shangguan Zheng, but because he held the post of a government officer,he wasn't permitted to start a private business.
