Zheng Lun didn't even appear after they finished lunch and Shangguan Ning and Zhao Anan left.
When Zheng Jing and Mrs. Zheng saw them off at the door, they looked really apologetic. After all, their daughter had invited them home whilst she kept herself locked in the room all the time, being impolite.
But neither Shangguan Ning and Zhao Anan cared about that. They knew Zheng Lun well enough to understand that she didn't desert them because of arrogance. They realised that she was at the edge of breaking down and couldn't handle anything else.
After Shangguan Ning and Zhao Anan left, Zheng Jing proposed that he would drive Zhu Ruotong home.
Zhu Ruotong laughed and said, "No need, I can go home myself. Your sister is feeling unwell. You better go upstairs and check up on her. I am off."
After she finished the words, she left.
Seeing Zhu Ruotong leaving, Mrs. Zheng let out a sigh.
