Parked on a ransacked and desolate street that had a few clothing stores on it…
Andy: "Man, the front is dented like crazy. Look there's even some hair on it"
David: "Well, no one told him to run over almost every infected he saw! I mean, come on, who in the hell does that?"
Desmond: "Wha-, don't blame me! It's not my fault the engine roars when you speed up. It's only natural that the infected would be attracted to us. If you want someone to blame then blame the people who made the engine so loud."
Was Desmond and the gang.
After escaping Pelican Soar Academy and barely surviving Desmond's 'Road of the Dead' driving, they decided to find a safe place to stop at in order to get Desmond some clothes.
Despite David, Andy and Desmond himself not minding it much about him being in his zebra print underwear, the same couldn't be said about the girls.
To them, his tight fitting underwear was too eye catching! Although they didn't mean to, their eyes couldn't help but be drawn to his muscular butt and thighs. Every time they glanced over, their hearts skipped a beat.
Therefore, in order to calm their hearts, Sara, who's been with Desmond the longest out of the three girls (and has the most resistance) threw a glare at him and the other two who were talking about the truck and said vehemently.
"Can you cut the conversation short? Desmond, can you please put some pants on! It's getting very hard to look at you."
"What? I bet you wouldn't say that if it was David in his underwear...Alright, alright fine. Don't hit me! I'll stop being the eye candy for now and put some clothes on. It was starting to get cold anyway. Give me that bat you got there Andy."
"Catch."
Catching the bat with one hand, Desmond carefully entered a men's clothing store via the smashed storefront window.
'Scary.'
Was what Desmond thought as he observed the store's surroundings.
The interior of the store was dark with many mannequins scattered about it. Some were broken into pieces by looters who stole the clothes the mannequins wore while others were standing untouched in pose positions.
With the combined efforts of the stores' dark environment and the inherent creepiness of the mannequins, the store had a very ominous and scary feeling. As if one was about to walk into a haunted house full of Weeping Angels!
'Nope. I'm not walking in there by myself!'
Desmond firmly thought to himself as he turned around to look at everyone. Without a change in expression, Desmond shamelessly suggested.
"...Why don't all of us go and change clothes? David, watch over the girls. Andy, you're with me."
'He's scared.' Was the common consensus of the five people here but Desmond didn't care. All that mattered to him was that he wasn't going into that store alone!
Therefore, he selfishly volunteered Andy to come with him. But little did he know that much like him, Andy was scared too. Due to an incident when he was little, Andy developed a small case of automatonophobia.
Shaking his head from side to side, Andy adamantly said.
"Desmond, you're my homie but I'll have to take a rain check on this one. I'm not goin- hey, l-let go off me!...P-please, don't take me in there! I'm scared of mannequins! Please!"
"I don't give a damn! It's dark as f*ck in there so I'm not going alone. You're just gonna have to conquer that fear of yours."
Sadly, his refusal fell on deaf ears. Ignoring Andy's borderline crying pleas, Desmond mercilessly dragged him into the store.
As they watched as Desmond and Andy left, David looked at the three girls and said with a wry smile.
"Let's go change out of these clothes shall we?"
=======
Inside the men's store.
"Dammit, Desmond! Why'd you bring me in here? I can't handle this! What if those mannequins move? What if I'm sent back in time? What if they…"
"Andy, calm down. They're not going to hurt you...I think."
"Don't 'think'! Pray they won't! Hurry up and get your damn clothes so I can leave."
"Sigh, alright. I'll make it quick. Give me your phone so I can use the flashlight."
"Hell no, you better use your own eyes. I'm not being left in the dark with these damn mannequins!"
"Fine. I'll be quick. You better do the same too."
And just like he said, he was quick. In a matter of minutes, he found himself a pair of jeans, a pair of hiking boots, and a jacket with multiple pockets on both the inside and outside of it.
"Damn, the looters took almost everything. I had to look in the back just to find these clothes."
"I can see that. I can also see that your favorite color is black."
Andy commented as he looked Desmond up and down. Other than his pants, everything else was a black. Although irrelevant, the colored fitted Desmond very well.
"True. But it's just a bonus. Now that we're stuck in a catastrophe such as this, it's better to choose functionality over aesthetics."
"Yeah, it's better to have something ugly but useful rather than something pretty but useless. Also, other than these clothes, there's nothing else in my size. Are those clothes in triple XL?"
This time, Desmond looked Andy from head to toe. He was decked out in a plain grey shirt, a dark blue multi-pocket vest, jeans and a pair of tan combat boots. He even had them laced up like a person in the military would. Andy was ready for whatever.
"Haha, f*ck you!"
"Haha, I'm joking. I'm joking. Anyways, I'm surprised you didn't freak out. Wasn't you scared of the mannequins not long ago?"
"W-why'd you have to bring that up! I barely managed to not think about by picturing naked women in my head. Dammit, the thought of a mannequin sneaking up behind me is coming back again."
"Hahaha…"
As Desmond and Andy were joking around and laughing with each other like this…
BANG!
"Come the f*ck out here and raise your f*king hands!!"
A loud gunshot followed by a shout suddenly could be heard.
Looking at each other with surprise before it almost immediately turned into worry, Desmond and Andy slowly made their way to the entrance of the storefront.
When they got close enough, they hid behind a display pedestal. Peeking around the corner, they saw a group of people numbering three standing around the truck. One was armed with a pistol while the other two were armed with a bowie knife and a sledge hammer.
"Sh*t! Looters! What do we do now? You wanna go stealth mode and take 'em out?"
Andy cursed as he ducked his head down and looked at Desmond. He didn't care much about the truck, what he cared about was the four people standing in front of it held at gun. point!
Still in their blood stained school uniforms, David and the girls were currently standing with their arms raised.
They were in a dire situation!
"Desmond, what do we do?"
Andy once again urged Desmond. After thinking a quick second, Desmond said.
"We'll slowly make our way over and take them out. Because it's dark, they won't be able to see us that well."
He was right. The moon was blocked by dark clouds and other than the street lights that were flickering on and off, there was practically no source of light that'd expose Desmond and Andy.
' Also, on the off-chance that we do get spotted, it would take the looters a few moments to register us because of our dark colored clothes. This would give me and Andy more than enough time to take the looters out.'
'But first, Andy needs a weapon. I can't have him fighting unarmed.'
Searching around his immediate area, Desmond looked for materials to make Andy a weapon. He grabbed a palm sized piece of glass, ripped apart a shirt for wrapping and made a homemade shank.
"Grab it here and hold it tight. You don't want the glass cutting you."
Handing the shank over to Andy, Desmond advised. Staring at the shank dumbfounded, Andy shook his head from side to side and said.
"Nah, I'll let you, who for some reason knows how to make one use that as a weapon. I'll take the bat instead. It's more safe for me that way."
"...Fair enough. Here."
Not finding fault in Andy's logic, Desmond acquiesced the bat to him and took the shank for himself.
'Although I shouldn't be proud of learning from my prison prone cousin, I'm happy I did.'
Showing an inward wryly smile, Desmond moved in front of Andy and said.
"Let's move. Follow my lead."
"Got it."
While Desmond and Andy were slowly but surely making their way over to the truck.
"We sure found ourselves a wonderful toy. Ain't that right fellas?"
"Haha, yes we did. I wonder how much horsepower it has."
"Think we drive it like a monster truck. I'm pretty sure it can crush these little girls with no problem."
The looters were having a good time. They were originally going to loot these stores and satisfy their desire of destruction by setting them on fire but after discovering the truck, they decided to halt their plans and terrorize the owners of the truck instead.
The only reason they found David and the other three instead of Desmond and Andy was purely by coincidence. When the looters were searching for the owners of the truck, they saw David and the girls searching for clothes.
After finding their future victims, two of the looters entered the store while the third one aimed the gun he took from a cop he killed into the air and fired, leading to the situation we have now.
"The only problem is that we don't have the keys. Hey, you, the boy glaring at me. Where's the keys?"
The looter with the sledgehammer asked, no, questioned David as he walked up to his face.
Still glaring at him, David said in contempt.
"F*ck you."
"Woah, this one has some fight in him...I like boys that are feisty."
Licking his lips the looters' eyes turned to ones filled with lust as he looked David up and down. His favorite type of prey were the ones that fought back despite being backed into a corner, because to him, it felt way more rewarding to 'break' his victims before killing them.
'T-this guy's a straight sicko!'
Feeling the intent behind the looters' gaze, goosebumps started to appear on David as he repeated.
"F*ck you."
"Haha, hey kid, how about I show how 'fierce' I can be?"
The moment the looter finished saying this.
WHAM!
He punched David in the stomach, causing him to hunch over and fall to the ground.
"Ah! David!"
Seeing this, Sara bent down and tried to pick him up. But before she could.
"Keep your hands up! If you don't I'll hit you like a damn pig."
The looter with the bowie knife threatened her to stay still. Stopping Sara in her tracks.
"Hmph, that'll teach the little sh*t not to look down on me. You know what? Maybe I should just smash that little head of yours right here, right now."
Saying this, the looter places the sledgehammer on top of David's head.
"P-please no!"
Sara shouted in fear. She was scared that he really would do it.
"That's enough, Lester. I don't want you killing them before we can have some fun. With that said, can't you guys please tell us where the keys are? I haven't driven in years so I really want to drive that truck."
The looter with the pistol asked with a slight smile. Because he was a repeat offender of traffic laws, he ultimately lost his license and was banned from ever getting behind the wheel of a vehicle ever again. So his excitement at driving such a huge truck was understandable.
"How do we know that you won't kill us after?"
Silent for the majority of the time, President Yang suddenly asked. She's been observing the trio of looters ever since they got apprehended by them, waiting for a chance to attack. Sadly, however, that chance never presented itself.
'I can't risk David, Sara and Amanda getting hurt if I were to attack now.'
Although President Yang was trained since young in her family's martial art and was granted inhumane strength because of it, it didn't mean she can dodge bullets.
If she were to try and attack now, she's risking herself and everyone else's life!
Oblivious to her thoughts, the looter turned towards her with his smile and said cheerfully.
"Who said I was going to let you live? After we have our fun with you, we're going to kill you. Point blank simple."
"So what makes you think we're just going to do what you tell us to do?"
"Hmm, I don't know. Maybe because we have weapons and you don't? If we want, we can kill you all here right now. What you say, Blondie?"
"E-eh?"
Startled because of the sudden question, Amanda jumped in fright. Seeing this, the looter let out chuckle and walked up to Amanda.
Sliding his finger across her face, the looter said.
"It's okay. There's no need to be scared. We'll have you on cloud nine before we kill you. Ain't that right boys?"
"Yep. I'll be sure to love them real well. Hey Voss, let me have her. I like how docile she looks."
The looter with the knife said as he gazed at Amanda's bountiful chest with sexual desire. He couldn't wait to see those breasts jump up and down as he used his snake to forcefully intrude into her garden.
'I'm bursting at the seems!'
Just the thought of him doing the act already formed a tent in his pants.
Seeing how happy his friend was, the looter with a gun backed up from Amanda and said with an 'all yours' gesture.
"Be my guest. I like the girl over here. Her pretty face and sexy red eyes are driving me nuts."
"Well, since we're picking the ones we want, give me the boy here. I'm gonna make him call me 'daddy' by the time I'm done. Oh, don't feel left out girly. After I'm done with your boyfriend your next."
All three of the girl's faces dropped. Seeing this, the three looters laughed in unison.
Watching from behind the truck, Andy, unable to take it anymore, whispered to Desmond.
"Desmond, don't you think we've waited long enough? If we wait any longer…"
"I know. I know. We'll go on three."
Desmond, like Andy, decided that now was the time to act. If not, this incident would be something they'll never forgive themselves for.
'Over my dead body I'll let these sons of b*tches touch them!'
So, after adjusting the grip on the homemade shank, Desmond silently raised his hand, showing three fingers.
'One.'
He dropped his ring finger.
'Two'
He dropped his middle finger.
'Three!'
He dropped his index finger.
'Go!'
The two rushed out from cover and ran towards the looters.
