Everyone took a cautious step back as the Titan, went berserk. There were horror stories of an entire Hunt failing because of a Titan's berserk state.
The Titan let out an ear piercing cry, as her body begins to glow. Stomping one foot on the ground, the Titan glared at all the players as if to say "I will kill you all!". And the Titan made good of the unsaid promise as she swiftly ran to the closest party and swung her weapon, mowing down the party. Although it was just a normal attack, the damage that it inflicted was severe.
"Hurry, heal me!" One shouted for backup, but the Titan didn't give the player a chance as the Titan struck her weapon down, impaling the player on the chest. The player shattered like glass, as its health dropped to zero.
The Titan didn't stop there as the massacre continued. One by one, players fell at the hands of the furious goddess, making the future of the Hunt bleaker and bleaker.
"We can't just watch here and be massacred along with the others. Let's do our best, but be careful!" CherishedSong sent in the group chat with a "Fighting Emoticon".
SavageGentleman and PurpleRain agreed. They couldn't give up just yet.
SavageGentleman used 'Soul Dash' closing the distance between him and the Titan, then followed up with a high level skill 'Soul Shackle'. SavageGentleman's sword broke, turning into a whip sword that wrapped around the Titan. 'Soul Shackle' deals damage and inflicts 'Shackle'. What Joseph forgot is that Titans have a very high resistance to crowd control, so it was already hard to land a crowd control when the Titan is in its normal state; but when it enters their Berserk state, they are no longer affected by crowd control skills.
The Titan shattered the shackles that were wrapped around it, then swiftly thrusts her weapon forward. It happened so fast that SavageGentleman's 'Soul Dash' was still on cool down for him to use, so there was no way at all for him to survive.
Just as the blade of the spear was about to hit SagaveGentleman, a metallic silver barrier enveloped SavageGentleman. When the Titan struck the barrier, her weapon bounced off, sending a loud echo.
"Thanks! *Sweat wiping Emoticon" SavageGentleman sent in the party chat.
It was CherishedSong who protected SavageGentleman, by using 'Great Echo'.
"No Prob!" CherishedSong replied.
Unfortunately what CherishedSong did, captured the Titan's attention. The Titan turned her eyes to CherishedSong, saying "You want to go first, fine with me!"
That's when Nico realized that he has made a grave mistake; at the moment he wanted nothing more that to bang his head on the table. 'Great Echo' returns the damage back to the owner by 100% percent. Meaning he mistakenly grabbed the aggro of the Titan, with the damage reflected to itself.
When the Titan rushed for CherishedSong, Joseph realized that the aggro was no longer on him.
"WATCH OUT!" SavageGentleman sent in the party chat.
CherishedSong retreated but the Titan was too fast that it caught up to him in no time. The other parties were doing their best to steal the Titan's aggro, so that they could preserve man power by saving CherishedSong, but with the damage that the Titan can inflict then reflecting it back; stealing the Titan's aggro was no easy feat.
As the Titan caught up with CherishedSong, the Titan swung her spear and inflicted major damage to CherishedSong. CherishedSong's health dropped to 25% with just one hit from the Titan. It was only thanks to his equipments and the effects from 'Ballad of Tenacity' that he survived that blow. CherishedSong immediately drank a high-grade potion, recovering his health to 84%.
CherishedSong may have survived but that Titan says other wise. The Titan was relentless, that after one attack she let out another attack directed at CherishedSong; but CherishedSong wasn't a beginner and he wasn't called the number one Minstrel for nothing. He made a gross mistake the first time, never again will it happened.
Nico glared at the Titan and said with a ruthless voice "Come at me!"
CherishedSong casted 'Molto Vivace' giving their party a of burst movement speed for a short amount of time and a 20% skill cooldown reduction buff, enabling for CherishedSong to dodge in the nick of time by leaping backwards. It's not easy for Nico to get fired up, but right then and there he was burning with excitement.
"About time!" Joseph said when he saw the fire in Nico's eyes. "This guy..." He could only let out a sigh of relief as he thought to himself.
CherishedSong started playing his violin as mirages of orchestral instruments surrounded the Titan. The Titan of course wasn't going to wait on what's gonna happened, seeing that her target escaped, the Titan will naturally go after it. Just as the Titan was about to make a move towards CherishedSong, Halberd came crashing down from above, resetting the Titan's aggro with 'War Stomp', preventing the Titan from coming after CherishedSong any longer; then followed up with 'Swing Impact',. Although the Titan this time, was barely knocked back, it still pushed the Titan further into the AOE of CherishedSong's incoming skill. The Titan recovered quickly and saw her new target in front of her, focusing her aggro on Halberd.
The Titan swung it's weapon on Halberd, but inches before it hits, a bright light zips through the air and hits the Titan with a burst of light, disrupting the Titan's attack.
SavageGentleman turned towards PurpleRain and stood in amazement as he saw the second Spirit that PurpleRain has called.

Another level 40 Saga Spirit, that's also wearing a self-made spirit Avatar. Joseph was utterly speechless. Nico recognized the skill that Charlotte used. It was 'Magic Missile', a skill that can disrupt any incoming attack, which made Nico grin.
"You will not hurt my child!" PurpleRain sent in the general chat, as if warning the Titan.
Not only did the Titan not understand what she said, the Titan looked even more pissed. The Titan let out another deafening scream then struck the ground but before it could continue, out of nowhere SavageGentleman came spinning down like a tornado and slashed the Titan, disrupting it from unleashing its powerful lethal wave. 'Soul Sever' inflicts 2000% of the caster's strength (Critical chances may apply) as damage, and disrupts any incoming attack or skill form an opponent.
"Help me keep this lady in CherishedSong's AOE!" SavageGentleman sent in party chat.
"Roger! *Salute Emoticon*" PurpleRain replied
SavageGentlman and PurpleRain did their best in keeping the Titan from leaving the AOE, but on the process, they were not left unscathed. The Titan struck Halberd so bad that his health dropped to 17% real quick. PurpleRain casted 'Master's Sacrifice' giving her health to Halberd, restoring his health back to full. But in the process, PurpleRain's health dropped to 42%. PurpleRain immediately drank a high grade potion to replenish her health to 100%, while Charlotte kept gunning the Titan down with her large hand cannon.
Joseph casted 'Soul Harden' reducing the damage that he receives down to 50%, but even with the buff, he still took some major damage.
"Any time now!" Joseph said, as sweat trickled down his forehead. His focus was on his screen as his heart kept beating faster and faster.
"Annddd now!" Nico shouted triumphantly.
The ground under the Titan lit up as a loud orchestral chorus resounded, erupting with loud music. 'Mirage Concerto' only lasts for 5 second and it may have along casting time but with the massive damage that it dealt per tick made it all worth it.
The other parties couldn't help but stare in awe at the breathtaking beauty of the music and the effects that 'Mirage Concerto' brought. It was truly stunning.
"Yeah! *Cheering Emoticon* *Excited Emoticon* *Celebrating Emoticon*" SavageGentleman sent in the party chat
Joseph's heart can finally calm down. He was sure that the Titan was finished, so he began to relax but once the effect of the 'Mirage Concerto' finished, his heart almost stopped instead.
"Wha-?" Joseph was dumbfounded along with the other players, as they thought that the Titan was surely finished by then.
The Titan stood in all her glory with 1% health point left. The Titan struck the ground and released a lethal wave that killed almost every player on sight.

All the players that died was very dejected and lamented their lost. It was not the first time that a Titan Hunt wasn't successful, but this time the Titan just had 1% of her health left.
"Why do we have to die at such a crucial time?!" They asked themselves bitterly.
There were instanceses that all the players that participated were wiped out and failed. Every time a Hunt failed, the Titan will go on hibernation instead and won't be active again until the next supposed respawn date. Failing wasn't necessarily a bad thing; players will still get their rewards but not including the super rare items like for instance, the JGD. That means if they fail this Hunt, all their hard work will only not pay off but also denying them the chance to acquire a JGD.
With a heavy heart, they all had to start accepting the fact that they had failed the Hunt, and there is nothing more that they can do. Whining and complaining won't do them any good. Some were quicker to accept reality and clicked revive to town, but some were a little too emotional. They stayed for a few second to looked back on their regrets and what could have they done better, but as they were doing so, when the dust settled, their hearts leaped into their throats. They blinked their eyes a few time, then pinched themselves, not daring to believe what they were seeing on their screens.
In front of their eyes stood three characters that survived the death wave, surrounded by golden musical notes and bar lines.
Thankfully, Nico has the habit of not being able to relax until he was sure that his opponent was defeated. So after casting 'Mirage Concerto' he was already expecting for the Titan to release a special attack on the slightest chance that the Titan would survive. Alas the Titan did, so he quickly casted 'Symphony of the Archangels'. Because of the 20% skill cooldown reduction buff that 'Molto Vivace' gave, that he casted earlier, CherishedSong was able to use 'Symphony of the Archangels' sooner rather than later.
At that moment, it seemed like the Titan was shocked that someone actually survived, but that was only for a millisecond. Seeing that her preys weren't all finished yet, she charged at the closest one to her which was SavageGentleman. The Titan let out a roar as she lifted her weapon over her head prepared to strike down SavageGentleman.
But as the Titan neared SavageGentleman, a stream of attacks rained down on her.

"Kuya, we'll cover you! You go and finish her!" Nico said as his eyes never left his screen. Nico trusted Joseph deeply, and Joseph knew that. So he couldn't let Nico and PurpleRain down.
"You got it!" Joseph said confidently, unfazed by the pressure that was brought down to him.
Halberd used 'War Cry' once again then followed up with 'War Stomp', while CherishedSong charged forth then used 'Coda Stomp'. The two came crashing down on the Titan from opposite sides as Charlotte blasted thousands of magical bullets from her hand cannon that rained down, looking like shiny confetti; which was very accurate since the name of the skill is 'Confetti'. The confetti exploded on the Titan upon contact, distracting it.
1% might seem like a small amount, but after taking on skill after skill, the Titan's still won't fall; that's how large a 1% of a Titan's health is.
Joseph had one chance to end this once and for all, so he had to make sure that everything is perfect. So when the Titan was already distracted, SavageGentleman used 'Soul Dash' appearing behind the Titan. Then with all his energy, leaving only 1 health point of his life, SavageGentleman thrusts his sword forward, 'Soul Eater'! With a stab, SavageGentleman's sword went through the Titan's chest, eating away what's left of her health, dropping to zero.
The Titan shuddered as her body slowly turns to gold. Before all of the Titan turned into gold, a single tear streamed down on her flawless face, as she gives a grateful smile to SavageGentleman.
"Go and be free! *Heart Emoticon* *Wave Emoticon* *Sobbing Emoticon*" SavageGentleman sent in the general chat, as if telling the Titan. Joseph really liked the Titan's story, it was tragic but by being defeated only will she be free from all her hate.
The Titan fully transformed into gold, then shattered into tiny little pieces.
"Rest in peace! *Praying Emoticon*" SavageGentleman sent in the general chat again as a tiny piece of gold slowly landed on his hand, like snow.
At the moment, the whole Rampage World was silent.

A system announcement appeared, and the whole Rampage World erupted in cheers.

[I was holding mine for a very long time!]
[Oh crap, I think I just peed myself while watching that! *Wide-eyes Emoticon*]
[Controlling one Spirit was already a headache, but being able to control two?! That's some serious talent! *Mind Blown Emoticon*]
[I just wish that Minstrels are more easier to play, so I can play like that]
[Is no one really going to talk about the Soul Sword?! I mean, he clearly is the MVP!]
The whole world chat exploded as they cheered and celebrate the breathtakingly wonderful final moments of the Titan. It was like a drama or an anime of some sort. It was truly touching that it moved a lot of player, whether if it's from the amazing way that it ended or by just the pure skill and talent that the party of three has shown.
The live feed of the battle was available in Rampage's website, at first no one was paying it no attention, but then a single comment was like a single spark that started a wild fire. That comment was from one of the players that joined the Hunt that had died early on from the very start. He wanted to see what was going to happened, so he rushed to Rampage's website to watch the live feed. That player then started a live commentary on every social media there is, which then started getting more and more attention, until the whole Rampage World was tuned in.
"We did it! *Sigh of Relief Emoticon*" PurpleRain sent in the party chat. She was still high from the adrenaline that she didn't know how to properly react at the moment.
"We sure did! Excellent job everybody! *Clapping Emoticon*" CherishedSong sent in the party chat.
Nico and Joseph slump on their chairs with a huge grin plastered on their faces. The moment that Titan fell, the costumers in Joseph's internet cafe erupted in loud cheers.
"Hear that? they're cheering for you" Nico said joyfully at the tired Joseph.
"Well... music to my ears" Joseph murmured as he closed his eyes.
Nico checked the time on his watch and saw that it was already 18:30 PM (6:30 PM).
"Kuya, I'll be going now" Nico said while typing something on the party chat
"PurpleRain I have to run right now, but it was really great playing with you! I hope we can do this again!" CherisheSong sent in the party chat
"I have to actually go as well! It was really great playing alongside both of you! *Bowing Emoticon*" PurplerRain replied.
"Hey, before you leave let's add each other as friends first" SavageGenlteman sent in the party chat
"Of course!" PurpleRain immediately agreed.
After adding each other, PurpleRain said her good byes "Thank you again, see you! *Waving Emoticon*" Then logged out. As her character disappeared, Halberd and Charlotte also disappeared.
The rewards will be given to all the participants of the Hunt at the exact same time within 12 hours, so PurpleRain was in no hurry to see her rewards, which goes the same for Nico.
Nico logged CherishedSong out, then proceeded to turn his laptop off before closing it.
"Going to work?" Joseph asked as he drank from his mug.
"Yup" Nico answered while he was putting away his things.
Joseph nodded then said brotherly "Be careful, okay"
"Will do, thanks!" Nico said with a smile, before standing up, slinging his bag over his shoulder, then headed out.

Shackle -*Is a crowd control skill that renders the opponent unable to move for a brief amount of time. It could be said that it is the Soul Sword's version of the crowd control widely known as 'Root'.*
War Stomp -*Has the effect of resetting the aggro of an opponent*

Shattering Vibrato -*Is a Minstrel skill that produces loud vibration through their instruments to lower an enemy's defense, if the opponent is a monster, Titan, Ancient Specter and whatnot; but if it is used against an enemy player it shatters one's armor (If the opponent player uses a shield, the shield will be shattered instead)*
Glitter Bomb -*Is Charlotte's skill, that deals a large amount of damage and a 80% chance of inflicting blind.*
