Chapter 1 - Prologue

Deep in an island in the Pacific ocean dwells an old man named Agran, who in his youth was once a feared pirate known as Ring Breard who conquered the sea of Ananuta. Raiding the ships of the sea dwelling race he amassed great treasures of gold, silver, and gemstones. But his most prized possessions were The Books of Viram; a collection of books said to be granted to the island races by Poseidon to create the first sapiente sea dwelling race, the Macrellens.

The books haven't been used since before the sea dwellers created their first calender and the power of the books were now regaured mearly as legend along with the exsistance of the gods. That was, until today.

CRASH

WROORSH

BARGRRR

Agran paid no attention to the rain normally, originally a sea dweller the water didn't bother him one bit, nor did it cause harm to The Books of Viram, being of the water themselves they were crafted of materials long forgotten but still fit for live under water. But today was different, the rain that normally fell from the sky was rising from the ground in a strange solid form that he had never seen before, and the wind that normally blew from the coast now felt like it was hammering from above.

Pit pit pit pit

He ran towards his hut with the first Book of Viram shielded under his shark skin tunic.

"What the hell" his jaw dropped as he saw the straigtest palm tree get slowly pressed I to the ground like a hunting spear into a whale.

It was a long held wisdom that the only thing that could destroy the books was the white wrath of the over world. Believing that the strange solid water that had also been cutting his skin was this wrath, Agran shielded the book as best he could until he arrived at his hut.

Finaly safe in his but he set the First Book back on his seel skin shelf that he kept from his later years as a pirate.

When he went to sleep that night he tossed and turned all night, images of 2 old men with magnificent beards came to him, and though he couldn't hear them he felt like they were trying to comunicate with him.

When he woke up the next morning the First Book was already in his hands. Setting it on the table he went outside to see the aftermath of the storm. What he didn't know was how today was going to be the start of a new adventure, an adventure that even his days of piracy couldn't compete with.
