When Asger noticed his wife startled face and how she was quickly making her way towards him he quickly realized what must have happened. Aos who had yet to learn the tribe's history didn't know the omen her eyes carried. Asger and Brenna both attempted to hide Aos' eyes. Brenna quietly whispered into Aos' ear, "Pretend to sleep. It's for your own safety...". Asger and Brenna quickly and efficiently exchanged some inaudible whispers which Aos could not hear. Brenna who was carrying Aos began to make her way to the back of the convoy while attempting to raise the least amount of suspicion that she could. In what seemed like an eternity she eventually successfully arrived at the end of the convoy and now had to somehow sneak away from the rest of the clan.
Brenna waited until the no one was noticing and quickly sneaked her way into the nearest tree line. When they luckily managed to hide in the tree line Brenna once again whispered into Aos' ear and said, "We need to hide until they pass so try to stay as quiet. We need to meet the old man...". After waiting for the convoy to get beyond their line of sight they began following the trail the convoy had left back to where they had camped.
The walk was grueling for Brenna, but under these circumstances, she pushed past what her body told her and forced herself to keep marching. The long march took several hours until they reached what was their clans winter campgrounds. Darkness was still overcasting the valley when they suddenly starting heading towards a cliff face that was completely shrouded by foliage and dense forest.
As they approached a very faint cave entrance could be seen behind some very thick bushes. Brenna after gathering her courage entered the cave and as soon as she passed the caves threshold both Aos and Brenna both heard a decrepit and slow voice whisper from what seemed like all directions. The voice with a hint of unpleasantness stated, "Why have you come here?"
