*Author is very busy lately. So I am here to speak in his stead.*
"Shut up system! Let's get the story started already so they don't have to waste time listening to this." Max retorted.
*You have the longest sentence though.*
"So what?" Max replied.
[God has entered the chat]
[If you two don't shut up and let the story start, I will personally tell the author to make the system an idiot, and Max here gay.]
Crickets could be heard chirping, as they both stayed silent.
[Without further ado, let it begin!]
(Hey that's my line…) Author retorted.
----------------------------------------------------------------
"System, why am I on the verge of crying…? I almost never do this…" Max asked as he closed his eyes to keep tears from escaping.
*Answer. Side effect of trap mode is that it makes the host more emotional for an hour after use.*
"Let's not use this skill ever again…" Max said as he rolled around on the floor feeling lazy and overemotional.
*It seems host is becoming more feminine as time passes…* System Sighed.
"What feminine? I scream battlecries while pummelling my foes." Max joked as he reminisced of Nate.
*Pummeling with your crotch you thot.*
"Hey! I used to be fairly normal using my fists you know." Max replied.
"By the way system, how come you didn't tell me to use my ultimate move?" Max asked. As he just now remembered he had it.
*Ultimate can only be used by the host twice within one hour before his chi is drained.*
"What's the side effect of have no chi left?" Max asked.
*Host becomes a vegetable for 15 minutes. Unable to move but is still able to think.*
"Yikes." Max said, as he got up.
"Hey system, is there a way to get rid of the side effects? I am feeling horrible right now…" Max asked as he felt like punching himself to get rid of all these extra emotions.
*Yes, However it will cost 10 virgin points*
"Ack! What a cheap system!" Max shouted as he shook his head.
"Just use it then. I feel horrible." Max shook his head and was slapping his palm against his eyes.
*Done. Side effects withdrawing.*
"Ah… That feels better…" Max closed his eyes as he felt the symptoms disappearing.
Max stood up and remembered he had to get lunch before it was over.
"Agh… These missions sure are time consuming…" Max mumbled as he ran to the cafeteria.
-
On the way he saw his buddies heading to their usual spot which was under a tree between the gym and school buildings.
"Hey Max what's the hurry?" Nate asked.
"He's rushing to get lunch you barbaric musclehead. Can't you see his empty hands?"Jake replied.
"Not sharing." Josh said as he pushed up his glasses with his finger to make them flash light.
"That's why you're so unhealthy." Nate said while poking Josh's stomach.
"Shut up, Musclehead."Josh said.
"You too…?" Nate asked Josh with a pained face.
"You deserved that one Nate." Max replied before he continued to run to the cafeteria.
"Here that you barbarian?" Jake smiled and laughed.
"Catch up with you guys later!" Max shouted.
*Host is hiding his inner evil…*
"What inner evil?! I'm normal!" Max retorted.
*Host is a heartless man who thrusts everyone in sight into submission. He should stop lying to himself.*
"You… So that's your depiction of me…?" Max shook his head and ignored his system.
Max ran into the cafeteria as he saw they were just about to close up.
"Can I get a curry and rice please?" Max asked, as he stood at the counter.
"Sure thing sugar. It's a little cold now though." The lunch lady took out plate from behind the desk and put a scoop of rice and then curry on the plate.
"Thanks" Max said, as he put in his lunch number to pay the bill and then walked away.
"Hey~ You're Max right…?" A girly voice behind Max was heard.
"Who are you?" Max asked as he turned around and saw a dark skinned girl with bleached hair. Her nails were colored pink and her face was loaded with makeup.
She definitely looked like one of those girls who spent hours on her looks.
"Me? I'm Kaylee." She smiled innocently and approached Max more.
"Alright. Just tell me what you're after already." Max backed up and scrunched his eyebrows as he knew something was up.
"Smart aren't you? I want to make a deal." She said as her eyes lit up.
"i knew it. What's your deal?" Max spoke, while putting his guard up
"Not here." She said, as they were standing in the middle of the cafeteria and people were starting to stare at them.
"Why should I follow you?" Max said with a serious tone.
"Follow. Or you'll regret it." She smiled and waved her finger at Max before walking away.
Max kept his guard up and shook his head.
"You really think I'd follow someone I just met? Especially when they are shady like you?" Max said as he turned and walked away.
"You…" She had and angry expression as he walked away, and was holding her hands in fists.
"Just you wait…" She walked away angrily.
"What a weird girl…" Max said as he walked outside the cafeteria and over to the tree.
"Hey Max! You better eat up since we only got 5 minutes left." Jake called him.
"I'll eat it if he can't…" Josh looked up from his book and smiled at Max like a puppy.
"He won't fall for that puppy beg trick. Especially when you're not a kid." Nate said to Josh.
"Food is worth anything." Josh replied.
"That is why you are always so unhealthy…" Jake said.
"Shut up, you narcissistic noble." Josh retorted, causing Jake to wince.
"Ah.. I totally forgot about that." Max said as he began chomping down his food.
"Ah…" Josh looked sadly at the curry.
"I told you it wasn't going to work." Nate said, as he patted Josh on the back to cheer him up.
After Max finished his food, he spoke to them about the weird girl in the cafeteria he saw.
"Huh… Kaylee? I've heard of her." Nate said.
"Oh? Your muscle brain isn't useless after all!" Jake laughed.
"Shut up!" Nate shouted angrily.
"Anyways, apparently she's a rich girl who owns a gang that has taken over a third of the school." Nate continued.
"Huh? I thought she was some random shady person and turned her down." Max spoke.
"Then she will probably come after you for revenge man. You better watch out." Nate replied.
"What's so scary about this girl anyways?" Josh asked after looking up from his book.
"She's known to have… Manslaves…" Nate replied.
"She asks men she finds interesting to follow her. I don't know what happens after that though. Only that they become her loyal slaves afterward…" Nate finished.
"Maybe that's what she wanted Max for." Jake said.
"Did you do anything weird lately Max?" Nate asked.
"No… Oh wait, I got into a fight with a rich kid named Juel." Max spoke up.
"Agh! Even worse! Juel owns another third of the school. Much larger than Kaylee's. Those two gangs are always going at it." Nate said.
"That's probably why you got chosen. What even happened?" Jake asked
"Juel went mad and had his bodyguards run after me. After that… I just took care of em." Max said as he didn't want to let them know how he did it. It was too gruesome for him to explain in detail.
"You held off Juel's bodyguards? She definitely wants you then. Even though that Juel is the real monster, I'm surprised you managed to get away unscathed." Nate said.
"You forgot something Nate." Josh said.
"What?" Asked Nate.
"Rumor has it…" Josh continued…
"She's a b*tch who does any man she finds interesting!"
