Ben's cavalry followed the orders he had given them before setting out to engage the southern moving invaders.
The cavalry made splendid use of the hills valleys and groves of trees to make quick hit-and-run ambushes. The slowly marching invaders never knew when the next attack would come and this put them on edge. It would appear they were alone with no one around for miles and suddenly thousands of cavalry units wound thunder up out of a valley or around from behind a hill to toss javelins at the outer flanks of the main army.
Every attack would cost them hundreds of men. Drogo had the outer flanks of his footmen begin to march while carrying shields and he also had his archers march with an arrow knocked, so they could instantly launch a barrage against the elusive cavalry when they seemed to magically appear.
The cavalry did a splendid job of slowing the progress of the invaders. They were forced to slow their march and send out scouts on their flanks to warn them of impending attacks.
The cavalry kept this up until they were halfway to the capital and then they simply vanished. Ben had them only delay the invaders long enough to allow him to prepare for them in the capital.
The cavalry made their way to the capital and rode their horses into the city to meet up with the main army. Ben went down to greet them when they arrived and questioned them on how their mission went.
He was glad to hear it worked out as they had planned without losing anyone. The cavalry and their mounts were so heavily armored that even though the invaders were successful at launching a few arrow volley on them the arrows simply pinged off of the Mythril Alloy armor they wore
Ben removed a huge amount of vegetables and fruits from the Warehouse to feed to the horse who had been subjected to numerous charges while wearing armor.
The mounted knights and javelin cavalry were then sent off to help defend the walls against the invaders they had been harassing for the past few hours.

*I'm unsure what happened here. Google Docs somehow deleted the bottom part of this chapter. From what I had written it was mainly about how Ben had arranged his troops. Just move onto chapter 12 from this point*
