As Lin opened his eyes he could see the vibrant flora thriving around him and concluded that he was in a forest. 'looks like I was dropped in a relatively peaceful area for now which is great, thank you Mr.Jack!'.
He then turned to inspect himself and saw that he had hooves, whiskers, horns, and patches of scales around his body. He slowly trotted to a nearby pool and looked at his own reflection and though ' looks like I was reincarnated as a Kirin'. A loud growl soon voiced itself from his stomach 'guess i gotta find some food soon or else ill die from starvation'. However as he was just newly born he doubted if he could kill another beast so he attempted to find fruits to eat in his surroundings.
He eventually was able to find some fruits in some nearby bushes ' can't tell if these are poisonous or not but its either a stomach ache or death from starvation' Lin though.'These fruits are actually really good, extremely sweet and juicy'.
He then moved onto the more important subject on hand 'now from what i can remember from the novel magical/divine beasts naturally mature on their own and can also devour the cores of other beasts to grow faster ' though Lin. 'However from what i can infer from the novel magi can absorb the elemental essence near them and use them to rank up to saint level as well as use them to cast spells. And spells are simplified laws meaning i should be able to absorb these elemental essences as a divine beast' though Lin.
'Well lets try meditating first since thats what Linley did to sense earth elemental essence' he though. And as he meditated for a few minutes he could sense small specks that were green colored as well as brown colored specks. 'From the looks of it i should be able to easily train in the laws of wind and the laws of the earth" Lin muttered.
He tried experimenting with the specks and found that his hypothesis was correct and that he could absorb these specks to increase his reservoir of energy within his body. However after awhile he seemed to hit a cap and was unable to absorb anymore of these specks. ' from what i can see after a while I am unable to absorb any more specks and thats probably the limit of my current core' though Lin.
after awakening from his meditation Lin found that the sky was beginning to darken 'damn the meditation only felt like 30 minutes to me but apparently a few hours passed' muttered Lin. 'well with that settled i need to find a place to call home' though Lin. And with that Lin raced through the forest until he found a cave to settle in for the night.
