Chapter 1 - The lightening Storm

In a far away barren island where no living being dare to dwell. It seldomly rains there but today seems to be one of the most wonderous day. The clouds are so full of lively lightening that it looked like some apocalypse is baring its fangs to the island. The whole sky is glittering bright and blue. From time to time some mischievous lightening strike the land as if trying to find out some treasure hidden beneath the earth.

This was going on for a while until one of strike landed on one of the rocks lying on the tallest mountain. The rock does not seems to be inconspicuous. It was of the size of a mini truck having a shade of black and red. As soon as the lightening striked that rock it exploded. The strange thing was that as soon as it started exploding, all the parts of it converted into a red mist except one which was located in the center most area. It is of jet black color and started glistening.
As soon as the black rock started glistening, a suction force attracted all the red mist into it. The red mist was getting sucked inside the black rock. The rock is getting bigger and bigger until it became equal to to size of a watermelon. Then red lines started engraving on it. Another lightening strike fell on the it but this time instead of exploding like earlier it absorbed the lightning and continued expansion until it became like a giant oval egg two feet long. There is a 3 inches long bolt mark present on the egg. The lightening storm went on for a couple of hours.
When the storm stopped the island became desolate and peaceful again. However the egg was now an oddity within it having a red glow with a slight yellow tint in it. The glow was not much intense to be noticed directly but it was flickering in a rhythm as if something inside of it coming to life. The sunlight before dusk were shining on the egg like a lover trying to caress his or her beloved.
After sometime the lively atmosphere was replaced with silent darkness stretching all over the island. The nature seemed to attend the calmness like that of sea before storm. One would be able to hear the waves splashing over the shore even from the center of island. It was a peaceful night.
The next day sun rose and first ray of light fell on the egg. As soon as sunlight fell on the egg, its flickering sped up. As the flickering increased the air surrounding the egg within 5 meter range started flowing slowly around it in circular motion. After few rotation, the air became yellowish and turbid. It then slowly started expanding the range. After a couple of hours the egg shrank by few inches and released a golden halo within 50 meters which mostly covered up the turbid yellow air. After getting touched by halo the yellowish air with golden tint suddenly spread over the island and disappeared after few seconds. There was a sound that came from egg like a heart beat. After which green wisps started coming off from the nearby trees and shrubs. They went straight into the egg. The egg started absorbing it like sponge. After absorbing last bit of wisp the egg shrinked again by few inches. Now it was about a feet and a half. The egg again released a halo but this time instead of spread outward it moved towards the sky.

Upon reaching few miles above the sky the golden halo got absorbed by clouds. All of a sudden dark clouds started gathering above the island. They started pouring rain and lightening started to strike again over the land. It looked like someone was having lightening turbulation. Whenever lightening strike on the egg it would roll up a bit. The lightening then scatter around it and few of its strand got absorbed by the egg. Everytime after absorbing the lightening strands it shrinked a little bit.

This went on for whole day again followed by same silent dark night. The same routine went on for a week. If someone looked from above the island one would be able to see the north part of it completely wiped clean, burnt up and smoke coming off form various holes formed by the lightening. There was a black crater formed which was only 100 meters away from the shore. It was 50 meters wide. If one were to look from above it would look like eye where there was black instead of white having yellow veins spread all over it. There was a folden dot in the center.
That golden dot was the egg which was now of about 3 inches long. Its surface was now full of golden lightening shaped veins which were the result of all the lighteing it absorbed. It now looked like a glistening gem. The sound coming from it was almost inaudible. The golden veins occupied its surface while black color was replaced with yellow shade. The veins were expanding and shrinking very slowly. It will be hard for anyone to know about this rythemic expanding and shrinking. Is is unimaginable that this golden gem would be brimming with life and power that will be responsible for changing many fates and rewriting the destinies.
.....
Somewhere far above the island.

It looked like a room with its walls so black giving the feel of boundless dark creating an illusion of never ending stretch of space. In the center is a 40 ft circular luminous slab shining with emrald green light. There is a geometrical pattern inscribed on it. There are five shadows seated on the five corners within the slab.
"Have we dealt with him" said one of the shadow.
The shadow on its left replied, "We have followed him and attacked when he was trying to enter the void. We have striked him with lightening storm for over 7 days. Only after after we confirmed that there was no sign of life did we stopped."
"Good. Remeber we can't let even a single being past that limit otherwise we will lose balance."
said the first shadow. After thinking for a while he speak again, "We need to cover up this incident. No one should know what happened. Thats all for now. Time to disperse. may the reign be everlasting."
Other shadows replied in chorus "May the reign be everlasting."
