Following the path, Elijah was careful as he entered the deepest part of the tomb. At first, all they saw was pure darkness and Elijah used his smartphone's flashlight to illuminate the surroundings.
From what was pure darkness, he saw himself in the entrance of a spacious hall.
"Wow, this..." Looking closely, the walls and floor were made of a unique crystal with a reddish hue, however, there were full of cracks and a total of seven small holes.
In the middle of this corridor was a black coffin and across the corridor was a path connected to several rooms and a small passage that seemed to lead to the exit.
Next to the coffin, there was several statues just like the ones Elijah saw on the Prime King Palace.
Elijah held his breath and carefully examined the statues from behind without daring to look at their eyes, this statues has a larger body compared to the beings living in this world and all of them were wearing a special armor that was covered by runic patterns, patterns that were very close to the ones he had seen in the giant golden gate.
Elijah scratched his head without understanding why he had to do it if there were so many gods who could do this instead of him as he walked toward the coffin.
When he got closer to the coffin, he realized there was a huge crack in the middle of the coffin and that it was empty inside.
"It seems we already lost one of the pieces. Boy, let's take a quick look in this place before we go back talk with Sif to know what she wanted to say."
"Yeah." Elijah nodded and walked around the hall and a few other rooms and was shocked with the huge number of statues and bodies he saw on those rooms, while most of the bodies were turned into stone, there were several that were burned to the point where they could not be recognized as people.
"For the gods!"
The moment Elijah made eye contact with the statues, his heart began to tremble and he had the urge to flee. Because as much as he had killed before, and had already seen statues before, being in a closed place with bodies and a coffin made him especially scared since he knew he was there to prevent the Prime King from being resurrected.
Elijah did not want to stay here anymore, because he knew that what he was looking for was already taken. Then he made his way quickly to the last room so he could get out of this place and he finally reached the last door.
This door was wider than the others and was more than twice as wide, reaching for the door handle, he turned his hand gently.
"!!!"
Elijah unconsciously gasped cold air, the crystals that the walls and floor were made was more pure and beautiful than anything he saw before.
What shocked him the most was the three bodies he saw on the room.
Cassie and the fairies were also stunned because unlike all the bodies they have seen so far, these three were completely intact.
The first one had the shape and looks of a red ape, the second was of a child with his body covered with orange scales and the third was old lady dressed in blue robes.
Elijah looked on the floor and saw a a sphere made of crystal touching his feet. Picking it to take a closer look, Shadow cried out inside his head.
"Boy, you're so lucky! You did not even reach the fifth realm and already found something that every mortal in the universe would kill for, the sphere in your hands is a fragment of a divinity core. With a complete one, you could immediately reach the celestial realm, but with the small fragment you have, it can be used as a source of energy to recharge the First King's Palace and then we can travel freely between the worlds for some time."
