Dikano could not just give up on Ditiro after all they had been through. He had a flashback of the day April found out Ditiro was pregnant , she kicked her out of the house while it was raining. Dikano found Ditiro the next morning drenched at the corner of his street, he took her to hospital afraid she might catch pneumonia.
And when he went to Ditiro's parents, April told him Ditiro was not her child that she could die for all she cares. After a whole lot of pleading they let her come back when she got discharged.
From that day Dikano made a promise to himself to always protect her but seems like he failed a long time ago. Tears filled his eyes and eventually tripped down his face. How was he to make things right he wondered.

Ditiro also drinks water in between her meals.
