In the inner study of Bradque's castle, A mountain of books had already formed around Bradque who was currently flipping page after page and sorting his thoughts in Jorgen's vast Library. The power levels are more intricate than I expected. To get stronger I have to travel around.

Frowning he muttered sadly "If I had expected this Walpurgis meeting earlier on, then I could have absorbed Jorgen's memory, a pity it was a battle of life and death. The Walpurgis night is in three days, I need enough intel on each demon Lord and increase my Level no matter what." Bradque was feeling anxious, It was not every day one got to meet with the order of 71 including him. Rubbing his sore eyes and stretching his body he asked the system 'System how can I increase my Rank ?' *Host currently has two choices and should make a critical decision* "Critical..?" Bradque expression became serious at once, he hardly perceived any emotions from the system's robotic voice but this time it was different. Taking in a deep breath he continued "Go on" *Host has two choices as mentioned earlier. The first option Host completes compulsory quests deemed necessary for the Host by the System daily to Level up* After a moment of silence Bradque smiled and shook his head, he could not be careless and make a decision without knowing the second option "What is the Second Option?" *Host would be teleported daily to a separate modified dimension where Host would train his abilities by killing life forms for exp.* Resting his head on his arm with a ruminating gaze, his black pupils were calm before asking the system again after an hour "What is the time limit for the second option?" *Host has decided on the second option?* seemingly annoyed by the bratty system he irritatedly spoke in a harsh tone "Not yet, I was asking about the time limit for the second option." *The time limit would only increase as the Host levels up. The host would begin with two hours, it would cumulatively double with each level up.* a brazen thought was going through Bradque's head as he was brain-storming his limited options 'The first option is being the system's puppet while the second option is entirely dependent on my diligence. I am not a masochist and want the easy way out, but this system. IT IS BIGGER THAN ME that's why...'. " Quick question System" still doubtful on his suspicion he asked the System *Ask away* " What happens to the system if I die?" *The system would simply go into hibernation* "Then that means I am not your first host" *It is as the host said, you are the 42nd host of this system.* "I have decided I choose..."
*Hosts digital signature confirmed...The second option confirmed...Initializing teleportation..20%...30%...60%..100%* *World building completed* Bradque felt weightless before his consciousness was shaken by a blinding light. "Ughhh" *Host has two hours' worth of time and six healing potions. Good Luck* "This must be the artificial dimension the system mentioned. But it looks very similar to the dungeon tower back at school." blinking curiously at the strange surroundings. Bradque was currently on the first floor of the tower. He tried getting off his butt and he realized it was more difficult. "Shit, you mean gravity here is harsher?." "Ah? I also don't feel any mana in my body." *One hour and thirty minutes remaining* struggling to his feet once again Bradque could finally balance himself before hearing the System's cold prompt. Trailing his eyesight to the stairs leading to the second floor he picked up the pace and pushed the door but it won't budge. "Is this how people without mana feel?" After sweating profusely he could finally open the door to the second floor of the dungeon before hearing the system's warning * Forty-five minutes left* "Krrkkk hihiiihii..." A loud screech welcomed Bradque as he pushed open the door to the second floor of the dungeon. The second floor was as wide as ten stadia but consisted mainly of canopy trees giving off a rainforest biome. while checking out the place the birds here turned their attention to this intruder and then attacked Bradque. Retrieving the sword of Hades from his inventory he muttered happily "Thank goodness the system's storage is still functional" before engaging the flock of bright feathered birds he heard the cold voice of the system. *Exterminate the flock of birds for a reward of 200 exp* "Hmm? exp? is this some kind of game?" surprised by this new development he shrugged it off and kept on swinging his sword using Chris' family technique *Phoenix bloodline strengthened by two percent* "System you are just full of surprises today aren't you?" he also noticed that these were no ordinary birds, although infinitesimally weak he still felt a hint of the phoenix bloodline on these birds" *twenty minutes left* "Shit!" he was still trying to adapt to the gravity and the heavy sword he wielded had already consumed almost all of his stamina. "System is the store function available?" *Negative during simulation host is barred from using the store function for now.* At this point in time, he had exhausted five out of his six healing potions. Hitting his fist on the tree barely supporting him in frustration Bradque gritted his teeth and looked at the herd. His gaze taunted them while pointing his finger shouting in an angry tone "You pea brains if you truly have the balls come face me and stop backing away" then he fixed his gaze on the leader and spoke again "and you call yourself a leader but hide behind your followers, you pussy" the birds were angry at the audacity of this human to taunt their leader. Screeching in annoyance while flapping its enormous red wings the bird looked at this human with disdain in its gaze. "Screeeeeeeech" glad that his tactic had worked Bradque braced himself for the final battle. "The phoenix technique grows stronger with each swing, but for every seventh swing the mana expenditure doubles. Right now with my low mana, I can manage to reach the seventh swing. Damn the system for nerfing me this time." Closely watching the leader of the phoenix flying speedily to the top of the floor's ceiling he was perplexed before he saw it diving downward towards him with doubled acceleration. "Eiiiiiiiiii" listening to the high pitched shriek of the bird he took a deep breath and took the last bottle of healing before downing it in a single gulp. He then assumed a battle stance, his blade stretched behind him giving off a vulnerable vibe. *five minutes remaining* "Nowww!" he ran full speed towards the diving creature and swung the sword while ignoring the fire attacks, "First strike" "Hisssss" the bird was surprised but increased the magnitude of its attack. "blllergh" spitting out blood Bradque grabbed his sword with a tighter grip and persevered "sixth strike" "Gikikkkkkkk" The magnitude of the flames had reached the level where even though Bradque blocked the attack with the blunt side of his sword he was still taking heavy damage. The creature was slowing down his combo attack with its harsh flames however, the bird was running out of steam too. The elegant feathers of this creature had been charred beyond recognition. Angry that this puny human had disgraced its graceful appearance the bird was deadset on finishing this annoying pest once and for all. Confronting its opponent with a furious glare the bird used its talons this time simultaneously breathing fire. *Sixty seconds remaining* "Seventh strike" bending his knees and using the ground as a foothold he propelled himself leaping forward to meet his nemesis. A resplendent red glow shone on his sword. Both opponents gave their best intimidating battle cry "ahhhhhhh" "Skriiiiiii" The remaining birds could do nothing but spectate the battle since they would only get in the way of their master. "Booooooooooom" "Sckkkriiii" the spectating birds that were watching from a distance decided to see through the rubble to determine the victor. *twenty seconds remaining* "I made it huh?" smiling wryly at his awful appearance he switched his gaze to the unconscious bird. The surrounding birds were scared and tried to defend their Lord but Bradque just shook his head and spoke "Take me back system" *Affirmative* A bright light surrounded Bradque before he disappeared. Screeching in surprise at this uncommon phenomenon the birds were scared before attending to their wounded Lord.

"Veronica" after looking at his new stats Bradque was quite satisfied and summoned his most loyal subordinate. "Master, what happened?" She was confronted with a figure that resembled her masters'. Charred face, and ragged clothing she would have sworn it was not her if it wasn't for the familiar energy her slave crest was giving off. Bradque's body was aching all over and he did not have time to mince words "The rejuvenation pool quickly" he hurriedly spoke while staggering. Sensing the urgency in his tone she helped him get into the rejuvenation pool.
