Lo and behold, after the long and hot argument from his parents now was the first time ever that Loukas has been outside their kingdom. With as few as 10 king's guard in his retinue he was now bound to a neighboring country of the kingdom. It was not still what he would like but his mother was adamant that he never ventured far off on his first state visit.
Loukas new that it will be pompous and dull for he will only meet the head of state of this country but he was still glad nonetheless. At least he was out for the first time ever right? He never let this dampened his mood. And so by flying with their family plane, he was now bound to the little country of Surrecks.
An hour was all it took and the retenue of the crown prince was heading outside the airport.
A lot of people and media littered the area as they were warmly welcomed by the head of state himself. Note that it is the first time that the crown prince of Baseliea visit a country and so of course it will be a fan fare.
The head of state of Surrecks was beaming for his country is where the future monarch of Baseliea headed in his first state visit, never mind the fact that they were just neighboring countries. He was so sure that a lot of other head of states are now dying with envy and so by thinking that way, he unconsciously puff up his chest as he greeted the young prince.
On behalf of all the people of Surrecks, I, president Beleu bid you welcome to our beautiful country your royal Highness. With all smile as he curtesied.
With regal smile plastered on his lips, young Loukas accepted the warn welcome that comes his way as the head of state lead them all to the limousines that will take them to the state palace.
Loukas knew full well that before he comes to this country, all matters of safety has already taken place for he knows how much his parents value his being safe while partaking his training of all his future responsibilities.
A day has passed after his entry to the country of Surrecks and it has been the most boring day for him. Of course almost all the known individuals of this country greeted and praised him. If he just knew that it will be like this, perhaps he wouldn't be adamant to leave the kingdom. But crying over spilt milk is out of the question anymore. And so here he is fighting his way that he won't die by boredom.
He almost fall into his chair while pretending to listen to his secretary and that earn him a reproachful look from the old man. Mind you, this secretary of his is actually from the queen so any misbehavior from the young prince will be reported back to the palace and it will probably cost him a lot if anything amiss will reach the Queen's ears so trying to stay focus and regal that is actually really hard to do was all Loukas could do to refrain himself from falling into oblivion and into the Dreamland.
And lastly, on the last leg of our journey you your highness will have to attend the parade in one of the most famous towns in this country in honor of the celebration of the feast of the goddess of harvest, Circe. Said the old secretary of his quite sternly on to which he can't help but to raise his brows.
Don't you think it's quite beneath my Royal status to be flaunt in a parade to one of the towns? If it is one of the famous cities then perhaps I am not going to complain but a town? I know you can do better than that old Mindel.
It is actually a city your highness, the oldest city of this country but since the last war devastated this country once... that old city was left into ruins and due to people migrating from there into other places here in Surrecks, the old city of Circa had been a ghost town until a few decades ago. And due to it being ravished, only a few hundred people has settled there again at now it is only a town. Explained old Mindel with a heavy sigh.
But the people of this country still honour their oldest city by making it a national celebration whenever it is time for Circa's founding anniversary. And so, the people especially the important people of this country thought that the young crown prince of Basiliea could be their honored guest in this special event.
Loukas knew full well that this old man in front of him won't do anything that may deter the Royal family in any way and so clamping his mouth shut, he just nodded. And with that and with a sighed of relief, old Mindel finally bid his farewell to the young prince and leave his accommodation.
Looking at the windows with a dull expression in his eyes, young Loukas was resigned to his fate to be bored beyond his belief for a few more days in this wretched Royal tour of his that he himself insisted.
