Then soon spread out in formation ready to face them. They were around 60 bandits and they didn't even target the convoy of this group.
One of Bandits "Gentleman, there seems to be some misunderstanding, there seems to be no past inconveniences between us."
Ha Ling "We just came for training. We are hunting down bandits on the path."
That bandit was really angry hearing this, hunting bandits.
Bandit "We haven't crossed your path, we are just going on our way and you want to kill us for hunt of yours."
Bandit "You guys may not know ,but we belong to Red moon bandits, if anything happens to us. Your group will be hunted down wherever you go."
Ha Ling "Is this the symbol of your Bandit group. Then I am sorry to disappoint you but they are already eliminated."
Jiang Chen "Why are you speaking now, let us speak later I am charging in."
Jiang Chen spoke that and started charging at the group of Bandits directly.
Bandit leader "A second grade fool want to kill us. Bora kill that pest." he called out for the 7th stage Martial Artist.
Everyone were shocked seeing this ,that bandit is really ruthless he is directly sending his top fighter to fight a second stage martial artist. He want to send a clear message, you may be more powerful but we will spoil your honeymoon.
Bora took out his spear from his back and was ready to face Jiang Chen's oncoming attack.
Jiang Chen in his mind thought "This is even more perfect." Jiang Chen is already close to breaking through to 3rd stage martial artist. When he was just a first stage martial artist, he blatantly ignored 6th stage Martial artists, now that he is in second stage he started ignoring seventh stage martial artists too. He can alone slaughter this group ,he didn't even need to call for the NIGHT. NIGHT was just standing there patiently ready to enter the fight any moment.
Just as BORA's spear was about to make contact.

Jiang Chen dodged that attack. Jiang Chen has his sword in sheath attached behind him. He didn't even draw his sword.
Bai Mo "Did Jiang Chen go mad or something, he is facing a 7th stage martial artist and he is yet to draw his sword.All of you be on alert we will have to intercept it before something happen to Jiang Chen."
Hearing to this all the peak stage martial artists were ready to charge in any moment. But even before they could move a step ,they heard a thud sound and blood was already shed.
Jiang Chen has used Bora's own spear to pierce his neck. Blood was spilling like a fountain from the neck.
Everyone were shocked seeing this ,Jiang Chen just took an instant to kill a 7th stage martial artist. What kind of monster is he,his opponent was a water attribute cultivator along with it. That Bandit should have been in absolute advantage here ,his cultivation was 5grades higher and Jiang Chen is a fire attribute cultivator while he is a water attribute cultivator.
Ha Ling and Ning'er were the only ones not surprised. Jiang Chen didn't stop there and he immediately changed direction to one of the 6th stage martial artist and this time he drew his sword in very last moment employing drawing the sword technique, along sword of west that opponent was chopped exactly in half by Jiang Chen and his body fell on ground in two parts.
"Two slice combo."
Jiang Chen next opponent was also a sixth stage martial artist he was chopped in same way as second one except he was beheaded too.
Seing this Bai Jin coundn't help but shiver as it reminded him of the nightmare he has seen few weeks back.
Jiang Chen facing his fourth opponent ,he sliced his sword through his thighs and then beheaded him.

Everyone who saw this were dumbstruck , strongest in the group of bandits were already dead killed by Jiang Chen
Jiang Chen's sword was very swift and no one could clearly see it, Bai Mo and Ha Ling can only tell its position, based on the instincts they developed.
Jiang Chen fifth and sixth opponent opponent fell for another two move combination ,with their arms and legs.
Jiang Chen then continued his merciless attack, he continued the order he followed seriously, his moves increased from two move combo to three move combo, then four move combo and finally Jiang Chen killed all the Martial artists in the group except for the leader.
The four people from Bai family were filled with sweat as they realized it. They were distraught seeing this. Other also felt it was bit too ruthless.
Bai Jin couldn't stop himself and charged towards Jiang Chen in full force. The martial artists from Ha family were prepared to intercept but Jiang Chen stopped them.
Bai Jin launched his full blast attack from behind ,it caused huge energy fluctuation in the surrounding. Jiang Chen just smiled at this thinking "IDIOT." and fire shield appeared in Jiang Chen's hand. Bai Jin's attack was once again completely dissipated into nothing. He was distraught seeing this. As he was watching Jiang Chen horrified , Jiang Chen's lightning attribute spear appeared in his hand. And NIGHT was already beside him ,Jiang Chen mounted the horse. Other two Peak martial artists wanted to come and assist Bai Jin, but they were stopped by Ha family martial artists.
Everyone were shocked seeing Jiang Chen's spear ,even Ha Ling didn't know about Jiang Chen's spear. Well who ever saw him use spear, are either dead or are in his natal palace till now.
Bai Jin didn't try to resist any longer he knew he was doomed, what can he do against Jiang Chen. That Red shield is still in Jiang Chen's hand, it will dissipate any attack he threw and Jiang Chen has spear in other hand which he will use to finish him off. He has no way to face Jiang Chen. Just like that a spear pierced through Bai Jin's throat.
Jiang Chen then took out Bai Jin's storage pouch and put it in his natal palace. He then turned to the Bandit leader who was looking at him terrified.
Jiang Chen " Now you are the most powerful person in this group."
Bai Mo who was watching this was distraught. Bai Jin was killed in a single move. There are only two more peak stage martial artists left with him now. He sent both Martial soldiers out for other purpose and he is almost two months journey away from River Spring city.
Every one were looking at Bai Mo ,except for Jiang Chen and Ha Ling who were concentrated upon the Bandit leader.
Bandit "Please don't kill us."
Jiang Chen "I will not kill you ,you can continue your plotting and all, I will even help you find a group to fight me you can tell them everything about me."
Bandit was confused hearing this what plotting. But people from River Spring city understood it.
Jiang Chen " We already eliminated your main group, so all the responsibility of this groups survival fall upon you."
Jiang Chen "I will not do anything to you,you can freely do what ever you like ,you can even go and plot against me. But a thing happened hear and there leaks out. At what number did I stop."
Bandit leader was shivering as he spoke "42."
Jiang Chen "How difficult could it be to increase it to 60 or hundred or even 138."
Jiang Chen "Your Redmond bandit group will depend on you now man. All the best."
Jiang Chen "By the way , leave all your storage pouches and items here. You can take food and quarter of gold you have."
Bandit "Yes, lord we will leave everything."
Then the Bandit leader ordered his remaining men to empty all the storage pouches and then ransacked the dead bodies and taking out their storage pouches and gave them to Jiang Chen keeping quarter of the gold and food supplies with themselves.
Jiang Chen "What is it there?" Jiang Chen saw a small cage where Bandits were hiding previously. Jiang Chen slowly walked and opened the cage to find two small white cubs there.
Everyone understood it, Bai Family was already eliminated and this group led by Bai Mo is the only surviving line of Bai family. 138 is the exact number of Bai family members alive. Everyone were looking at Bai Mo who was distraught realizing what happened, his family is eliminated he is the last surviving descendant of Bai family. Jiang Chen can kill his group anytime he wanted. His face was swollen he was vomiting blood and fainted, there was only one thing in his mind on how Jiang Chen killed his opponents and how easily Bai Jin was killed by him. Revenge ,plotting is he even kidding what kind of this will work on that bastard. A group of hundred strong martial artists led by 5 Peak stage martial artists was eliminated by him, who in the world will help him. Jiang Chen just wanted to use him as a spy his enemies, he want to use him to eliminate his future enemies.
Jiang Chen "Poor little things." Jiang Chen came back as he was holding two little white cubs in his arms.
Ha Ling "Brother Jiang, where did you find them?"
Jiang Chen "I guess this bandits were taking them to main group,they might have stolen them from some merchants or traders."
Shangguan Ning'er was next to come to senses " What kind of beast is that?"
Jiang Chen "They are Snow Moon leopard cubs, they are hardly a week old, poor things."
These two were cuddling to Jiang Chen as they felt warm, Jiang Chen's white robes gave them a feeling of familiarity.
Jiang Chen "I am adapting them. How can I ignore such cute ones."
No one spoke a thing, even if they wanted the beast, they will not fight with Jiang Chen for it. Also ice attribute beasts are no use to them. These cubs need proper care too.
Jiang Chen "What happened to brother Bai Mo?"
Everyone were dumbstruck at this question. He still have a straight face to ask what happened to Bai Mo.
Ha Ling "Nothing he just got heat stroke. He will be fine after two days rest."
Jiang Chen "Then good. Let us join the main party. I guess I overdid a bit. I will not participate in next hunting."
Ning'er "That is what I told before ,it is unfair for you to participate."
The remaining two Peak martial artists of Bai family were vomiting blood now, was death of Bai Jin not even counted at all. They didn't give a second thought about it they didn't even gave a look at his dead body.
Jiang Chen "What happened to elder Bai Jin?" Jiang Chen asked curiously.
Bai Gu who was in better position than others answered it "Those Bandits sneak attacked on him, Young Master Jiang ,you please continue with the trip we will join you soon after burying him."
Jiang Chen "Sure, it is good that we killed all bandits and got our revenge for Brother Bai's death."
Ha Ling "Yes." everyone nodded their head at it.
Those two know for certain their life and death are now depended on Bai Mo, they have chance of survival if they stick to the group, if they leave the group they will be split in two or three parts each.
When they reached the convoy again there was a huge commotion knowing Bai Jin was killed by Bandits. Bai Mo came to consciousness after three days and remaining two peak martial artists were protecting him and helping him get back to normality. They haven't yet disclosed the information to other Bai family members.
After that they traveled for another month before they reached River Moon city. They have faced many bandit attacks on the way, Jiang Chen was stopped from participating in them. All five of them reached to third stage Martial artist by the end of the journey.

The conclusion of this chapter I conclude that our first Volume/Story Arc is completed. Our Second volume will start from next chapter, next volume will deal with the admission test for the Sect, joining the sect and what happens in the sect. We will know more about Xue WuXia and her story.
