The doorbell kept ringing as Astra did her best to cover her ears. In her 16 thousand years of existence she was never awoken in her sleep. She can sleep for as long as she want.
They can do whatever they want after all. With the task of watching over the people of the land, they have a lot of free time in their hands.
That is why this was the very first time that someone was persistent enough to wake her up.
So with a dark look, she got up and opened the door, she looked at the man standing in front of her as if she wanted to end his life.
Kaito raised his hands, he was wearing a green shirt and black jeans, coupled with black and white sneakers. Just as Astra was about to slam the door in his face, he stopped her and went inside.
"See, I told you, you are someone who didn't care about the time," he said as he let himself in.
"What are you doing? Did I invite you in?" she asked with a raised eye brow.
"I'm here to bring you for the entrance examination. Didn't you say you'll give it a try?" he answered not minding her dark look.
"That was yesterday, today I no longer wanted to. You can see yourself out, I'm going back to sleep."
She walked towards her room as she yawned.
"No can do, you already gave your word yesterday. Even if you return to your room now, I will knock on it nonstop. So either you come with me? Or you will not be able to return to your sleep."
Astra could only grit her teeth, she can tell that he was serious. She then opened her door without saying anything.
"I am serious here," Kaito seeing this said once again.
"I'm taking a bath, if I don't come out in half an hour then knock all you want," she replied before closing the door of her bedroom.
Hearing her reply, he grinned as he looked around.
He welcomed himself as he opened her refrigerator bringing out some ingredients. He had indeed pushed her to come, he can just cook something delicious to pacify her at the very least.
Half an hour later she was out, with blue polo shirt and knee length white shorts. Her hair was tied into a ponytail and her side bangs covering half of her left eye.
"Come on now and eat, we still have half an hour before leaving," Kaito waved at her, he was already sitting on her dinning table.
"You sure know how to welcome yourself, don't you?"
Kaito just smiled as he picked up his own spoon and started eating with her, Astra was silently thankful for she has no idea how to cook.
She has all the ingredients but she didn't even know how to cook them.
This time, since it is still a bit early, the train was not as pack as yesterday and the travel was smooth.
She couldn't help but to sigh in relief.
Kaito looked at her as they stepped out of the train, "Why do I feel like you are planning on leaving everyday at an early hour after this?"
"You got it right. If it only needs me to wake up early in order to have a peaceful ride, I can manage that," she replied matter of factly.
"And, how about going home?" he asked.
Astra frowned, "At least I get to have one peaceful ride."
"Come to think of it, how far can you control your elements? And what was your main?"
If one is born with two numbers, there is still a difference between the main element and the secodary.
"Show me first how you can control yours," she instead said.
"Well my main element is wind and my secondary is fire. So my next level main element is Ice. We are the same on this aspect," he conjured fire on his right hand and controlled wind on his left.
One look and the pureness of each element shows difference. Your main element would look crystaline once conjured and the next elements will have a bit of opaqueness in them.
"And how strong are you now?" Astra asked upon seeing his elements.
"Hmmmm, my wind could cut through six trees in succession. I could already cut concrete walls as well. As for my fire, its explosive strength is the size of a one bedroom house."
Astra went into deep thought, she was someone who was born a superior. She of course had no idea how strong one is when numbers are considered.
'If Kaito's number 8 have that strength, then I suppose 4 could do half of it?'
Kaito looked down at her, she was frowning as if thinking deeply.
"Don't worry, since you already have two numbers and a four, you will be able to enter just fine. No matter what you show in there," he then said, trying to comfort her.
He thinks that she was thinking deeply about how to enter the academy.
"Say, number 4 have half of your strength?" Astra couldn't help but ask.
This stunned Kaito, it was a very weird question for him. Though if this was asked by someone who was not a player, he could give an answer naturally.
But Astra looked like she was really wondering, as if she never tried her powers before.
"Could it be that the reason you are still in number 4 is because you never used your power?" he asked in wonder.
"You could say that."
He looked at her while blinking a few times, she was born a player yet she didn't care about growing stronger?
Just how absurd could that get?
This the first time he heard of something like this.
'I am not lying here, I just came here two days ago and now I am here to take an entrance exam. I haven't even tried using my powers yet,' on the other hand, Astra had this thought.
