Chapter 7 - Rise

Nefertiri knew she can't hide, he will find her anyway. She should just wait and see. Analyzing the situation was really important for her but she was confused. She didn't really understand why her heart was beating so fast and was feeling some warmth spreading. What should she think? He's her soulmate the most important person in her life. This feeling was really nice it was good to know that there is someone who's caring for you. She das had the Lord to take care after her as if he was her grandfather himself. Nefertiri wanted to embrace all the nice feelings she got from him as a family member and always tried to show how important he is to her.

Nefertiri opened up to her connection to Zidite so he's going to have a higher chance to find her without external help. She went out to her favorite place in the forest trying to clear her thoughts. She found the place she was going to so she sat down in the lotus position ready to meditate. This time she didn't see him but she did feel his presence. Not here with her but she knew that he's somewhere there. As if he was reassuring her that he's there for her. She concentrated on clearing her mind. Even with closed eyes she could see all things surrounding her. It was quite interesting to have this ability even if it was always black with white contours. Around was energy flying in different colors and some of the small circles where lost souls that didn't get the chance to reincarnate.

She heard something, someone was coming but it wasn't Zidite. The energy she felt belonged to Misha. She then remembered that she didn't say anything before going out. He was her guard and she didn't even think about him and how he's going to feel after she disappeared. She was about to stop.

"Just stay there and I'm doing to find a place near so I can keep an eye on you."

So she went back to do what she was doing before, observe. Having found peace of mind she started to think about her childhood.

After her parents death she didn't really understand what's happening. Nefertiri just knew that her parents are not coming back.

Being a kid she liked to play with others of her age or near it. She didn't think long about her not returning parents it was as if the memories were fading.

Scar fast her best friend since she could remember even if she was one year younger they still grew up together.

Her first vision was while playing with friends. That day Nefertiri felt different as if something was coming. When she touched Scar's hand she saw the day she met her mate for the first time. It was a warming scene so touching that she started to crying, so happy for her dear friend to find him. Not everyone was meant to meet their soul mate and sometimes it took years. Ruby swą the whole situation and was interested so she rushed to the girl and just knew they are going to be friends. In the mean time all the kids were calling for their parents scared for their life. All the adults nearby where looking at her as if she was some kind of freak. The awakening shouldn't be happening at such a young age! They just thought that it was impossible. What kind of powers is she going to hold! The only thing that was comforting them it was that being an Oracle she wasn't going to have teachers to take care of her growth. They looked at the small kid with now white hair and violet eyes still holding her friends hand and eyes bleeding. This is dangerous. They could just hope there isn't going to be another priestess among them in the younger generation. She was their new connection to the gods but it didn't mean she was going to have an easy life.

Nefertiri awakened feeling extremely happy for her friends and didn't notice all the adults surrounding them.

"Scar! Your mate! You're going to meet him at the age of eighteen!"

This shocking news were fantastic. Did it mean that everything is going to go back to normal? Should they let the little girl see their future?

"Soooo coool! Isn't this amazing! What did you just do?" Ruby was really excited she wanted her abilities to awaken too.

"I just saw the future, I think." Nefertiri didn't really understand what was happening. She started do hear voices explaining what is going on. She knew too that Ruby wanted to be awakened already so she could be strong.

Without thinking she put her finger on the curly girls forehead and said something in the ancient language. There was some light coming of her finger that went trough the other girls skull.

Every adult was worried for the girl. They didn't really know what's happening. Should they stop her?

Scar wanted to awaken her powers too, she was going to be the next Elder that's what she wanted to do. She was going to show her people that they should be unified even if they have another attribute.

Around Ruby and Nefertiri there was the sound of waves crashing on the shore, the sea smell was refreshing and the light around them turned blue. The seal holding her powers was broken. What should they do? The Lord appeared in this moment and didn't really understand how is this possible?

It was his job to perform the braking of the seal at the age of twelve. The had the seal to conceal themselves from the humans. The young elves didn't really understand that they are different from them. The seal of two elves was already broken and he didn't have the power to fix this problem.

Nefertiri didn't stop there, the Voices were saying who should be awakened. She couldn't wait so she turned to action. They are going to save their race, there isn't going to be another option. Scar got what she wanted and the white haired girl found Cecile too. There were more of them to awaken but she was stopped by the Lord himself.

"Young girl, what do you think you're doing."

"They say that it should be done long ago." She answered his questions with what she heard.

"Who are they?"

"The Gods are mad."

Everyone was starting to get startled. What did it mean if the Gods were mad? It could even mean their destruction.

"Why do you know that?"

"They said it of course. They are saying that we should rise from the ashes again."
