It was almost 11 in the evening when it ended. Samantha had finally sat down in the waiting room. Her parents, Hannah, and her brother have already left but Alexander and her assistant stayed with her as they discussed their next course of action.
A little while later, a knock from the half-opened door was heard and Daniel Cho appeared with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"May I come in?", he said with a smile as he stepped inside. He was still wearing his business suit and he looked like he came straight from the other city which was about an hour of plane ride away.
Samantha lifted her head when he heard her man's voice, "You're here... I thought you were in City S tonight?", Samantha spoke with a surprised expression.
Alexander stood up from his chair, "It's late, let's call it a day. I'll see you on Monday, Samantha.", he said to her in which she agreed and Assistant Chen also excused herself.
