Daniel was caught off guard by Samantha. But he held her in his arms and brought her to her feet. He didn't speak, he just let her be. Samantha who's still agitated was trembling. The scene kept playing in her head; from when she started to gather the evidence, posting them online, Hannah's stalker and text threats, and the kidnapping. She terribly felt guilty.
"It's okay... you're okay.", Daniel whispered as he stroke Samantha's hair. "I'm here now.", He repeated the same words to her, trying to soothe her.
Daniel called assistant Ahn in the middle of the night and instructed him to get his car and take it to Sapphire Gardens, Samantha's home.
The couple then got in Samantha's car and Daniel insisted to drive the two friends. With the two best friends quietly sitting at the back, Daniel concentrated on driving towards Hannah's house, stopping by her cafe to quickly close it. When they arrived at her house, it was already past two in the morning.
