Melissa Qin got out of the taxi and walked straight to the entrance. She hid herself from the public's eyes by wearing a scarf over her head and huge black sunglasses. The glasses that she wore were to hide her red puffy eyes from crying the whole night and the guilt that was evident in them for all the things that she did. How could she even face people in her state? It was best to leave and be forgotten by her own country than to stay and be ridiculed.
She never thought that Daniel would really find someone to spend the rest of his life with. Because even after what she did, she truly believed that she will still be able to come back in his life. And that insane idea will remain like a thorn stuck in her heart that noone can ever remove.
