Chapter 10 - He's your Mate

"Sure" I tell Jayson when he asks to talk with me privately. Once we get far enough from earshot I hear one sentence that makes my heart fall to my stomach. "Oliver is your mate, isn't he?" Jayson says annoyed. " H-how did you know that?" " C'mon Jennifer, I'm your beta. I know your scent like nobody else and I also know Oliver's from training and around school. So again I ask you is Oliver--" he gets cut off by an all too familiar voice. "Yes, it's true we are mates." I hear Oli say no shame whatsoever. "Please don't tell dad Jayson," Then Jayson says something that shocks us all-" I won't because his beta is my mate"
