The sun was high at its peak, shining over them. Song Zhen was the one that officiated the wedding, even though they were already legally married.
Song Luli and Long Jie exchanged heart-warming vows, and they slipped golden rings around each other's fingers. Song Luli didn't realize how good it felt to see the band on his hand; it made her feel as if he was officially hers. Long Jie then cupped her face, kissing her hard in front of everyone before they pulled away from each other, rasping for breath. He looked at her dotingly as he said, "finally."
After the wedding ceremony, they went back inside to have dinner and the party.
Long Jie stood up, half-way through the dinner, to tell his speech. He looked at every person directly before he said: "You know, I fell in love with my wife when I was 19 years old. I was 25 when I met her again, but she didn't even remember me."
