Chereads / Kiss With Mr. CEO / Chapter 17 - Then I'll have to discipline my wife.

Chapter 17 - Then I'll have to discipline my wife.

Chen Yi was having a beautiful and lovely dream where she had her cousin, Chen Ying along with her ex Fu Jianguo, tied to a chair as she was slowly cutting their fingers and electrocuting them. She was getting at the best part where Chen Yi was driving a hot, red in rod through Ying's heart. The red hot iron burnt their flesh as they screamed in agony when suddenly, exactly at 5:30 pm, her phone rang loudly jolting her out of her deep relishing dream.

"For real? Whoever this is must have a good reason for taking away the best dream I had in a month." She groaned as she moved her hands randomly over the bed searching for the cell while still having her eyes closed.

Forcing her eyes to open, Chen Yi looked at the caller's ID.

Private number.

And she couldn't think twice who could it be.

"Mr. Li?" Chen Yi called out his name with an unsure voice.

Why did he call her at such an hour?

Was he planning to terminate the contract?

"Did I wake up my wife?." Li Luxian's cheerful voice came.

Chen Yi was silenced. He was still calling her his wife. That meant that he was not planning to terminate the contract.

"Mr. Li called me for...?"

"To tell you to get ready for the dinner"

Chen Yi was stunned for a moment. She glanced at the wall clock.

"But it's only 5:30 pm yet"

"Yes"

"Didn't you say that we would be getting out at 8 pm?"

"Yes, I did"

"Then there are at least 3 hours to get ready"

"I like to do things at their scheduled time. So I called you to remind you so you don't get late"

Chen Yi was not happy. She so badly wanted to scream 'It is a dinner! Not a f**king business meeting!'

But she altered her curses to politer words keeping in mind the identity of the person she was addressed with.

"I was sleeping. You called me and woke me up three hours early. Mr. Li, don't you think it was unnecessary?"

"I don't think so at all"

Chen Yi: "..."

"Wife. Wife....", Li Luxian said playfully, "Sleeping during daytime is not a good habit. From now on consider me your personal trainer who will bring you under a nicer routine and end our all bad habits"

Chen Yi, who loved to sleep whenever she wanted and wherever she wanted, wailed silently.

There was no such thing in the contract! If there was, she wouldn't ever sign!

She loves her bad habits!

She attempted to persuade him with a little hope in her heart.

"Mr. Li I would rather like it if you could let me sleep more. I'm a little sluggish person"

"But that's not a good habit"

"I insist"

"No. As your husband, it is my duty to teach my wife good from bad"

Chen Yi wanted to remind him that they were not married yet for him to call him her husband. But she abandoned the idea considering that he was not going to listen to her anyway so she used an alternative approach.

"What if your wife wishes to be a little bad?"

"Then I'll have to discipline her.", Li Luxian said in a deep voice.

Chen Yi shuddered. Her heart pounded. Suddenly all her sleepiness vanished and she was wide awake.

Why did it sound so wrong to her?

She should stop reading those R-rated novels.

As if realizing why did Chen Yi quietened suddenly, Li Luxian laughed and said.

"Be ready at 8 pm. I'll be picking you up from the backside of the building"

And the call was cut.

Chen Yi contemplated if Li Luxian was acting so teasing when they were not married, how would he torture her once they got married? She sighed and got out to get ready. After all, he was successful in terminating her desire to sleep anymore.

If she was to lay down now, she wouldn't be able to stop herself from thinking about him.

Time passed quickly as Chen Yi lazily got herself ready for dinner. She couldn't believe it. Was she really going out on a date with the heir of Li corporation? That man who was the dream of so many girls! Everything seemed so unreal to her. The bell rang loudly jolting Chen Yi out of her thoughts. She frowned as she looked at the clock.

7:30 pm.

It couldn't be Mr. Li. She knew that he was someone who wouldn't be a minute late or early.
