Jacob looked at the time in his phone and muttered sarcastically, "So punctual, Isn't she? She texted me to meet sharp at half past seven in the morning, now it is already half past eight. Is she always this punctual?" he directed the last question to the young man who sat next to him dejectedly.
He shrugged his shoulders and both his eyes had dark circles underneath, he threw him a questioning look, 'How would I know, I just met her yesterday, it was not even half an hour meeting.'
"Ok fine! I know she is a little reckless. Anyway, from now on, you have to keep an eye on her, are you ready?"
'Ready?! Do I have a choice left, you have already caught my throat hard enough to escape.' He just nodded his head accepting his fate.
"Do you think, she is planning to ditch me?" 'again' Jacob bothered the man whom he knocked and held hostage all night.
"I have no idea" the young man replied honestly. However his mind complaint, 'Is he a psychopath? he kept me hostage for a whole night. Now, talking to me in harmony as if nothing had happened.'
While Jacob was firing a nonstop question to kill the young man's mood. Anna's bodyguard pulled the car outside the cafe that she asked Jacob to meet her.
Before getting out of the car, she took a deep breath reminding herself once again, 'Today, I should end all sorts of contact with him and warn him to keep away from me if he meets me in future.'
After contemplating for a while, Anna walked into the cafe and looked around to locate him. She heard a familiar voice around the corner of the cafe, "You are late!" Jacob called the girl while accusing her with a smile.
When she spotted the reserved table, she also found another familiar silhouette sitting next to Jacob, she asked herself, 'Is it Dru, the senior whom we met yesterday? What is he doing with him.'
She walked to the table and answered Jacob with a perplexed expression, "I didn't have a good night sleep yesterday. Guys, you know each other?"
Anna's inquiry sent a quiver in Dru's body, 'How on earth, I would know this psychopath, it is because of you I am here'
"Yes! I am his brother. Though we are not blood-related, we are thick as blood." Jacob answered on behalf of Dru and held his shoulder warmly in front of Anna while what it meant for other man was play along with me, or else, I will throw you into the jail.
"Oh, Is this the brother you were talking about yesterday?" Anna threw the next question to Dru. 'If he was the one then I can most definitely trust them, it will be a huge opening for all of us. Certainly, he was annoying and also Shane will hate it but this man will be such a help.'
Before Dru could open his mouth to answer, Jacob reacted enthusiastically, "You even mentioned me to them already, Did you also tell them that I am a Professional street dancer?"
Dru raised his eyebrows, 'Professional street dancer?! Yesterday night you asked me what is a street dance, now you are saying you are a professional. Is something wrong with my hearing or am I drugged heavily and not yet awake.'
Dru slapped his cheeks, "Ahh... It hurts"
"What are you doing?" Anna asked Dru worriedly.
"Nothing! I am still sleep deprived, I think I have to step out." he looked at Jacob for his approval.
"Hmm... Don't sleep in classes too, you have so many pending works to do. Don't disappoint me, brother."
Dru heard Jacob's warning behind his words and he simply nodded his head and left the place.
"Are you a professional street dancer too?" Anna asked Jacob with so much admiration.
"Yes! Do you need any help?" He lied with no regret. 'It will be a matter of time to expertise, why not try this field too. I have done lots of learning earlier, this will add one more star to my portfolio.'
"Not for me! Actually, a friend of mine might need your help." She lied too.
He smiled, 'Liar! Never I wonder, Why did I felt she is my other half. we are made for each other without a doubt.'
"Bring them along next time, we can discuss." Jacob smiled encouragingly. 'Yeah, one more date, Hmm... that's what I am looking forward too.'
"Thank you and here is your money" She smiled back and she forgot altogether the real purpose of her visit. She came here to break all the ties with him, but in the end, she herself had extended their meeting to the next level.
Jacob looked at her hand, she held more than five hundred bucks in her hand, "I gave you only five hundred! why are you throwing your money like a... what did you say to me the other day... Yeah... like a rich novice kid?"
Anna stammered, "No! I didn't mean to insult you. I just thought you might need it and you would feel grateful."
"Little girl! I don't need this money, you can keep it."
"Hey! You really need it! You can count the extra money as an entrance fee for participating." She pressed the money into his hands.
"Entrance fee" Jacob wondered 'Does such a thing exist.'
