"That's of the end of you, evildoer," Jin declared.
As the smoke of explosion slowly cleared away, the 4 struck their poses which will not be described due to its shameless appeal.
"Now who's going to build the grave?"
"I will," Shin said.
"The incense?"
David rested his hand on top of his head as he sighed. "Stop shoving your religion down our throats. But sure, I'll do it."
"I will be in charge of maintenance. Of the grave, that is."
"I will be in charge of the prayers then." President Jin enthusiastically volunteered. The coat is now back on his back. "Good work everyone. Let's just find bits and pieces to bury and it will be all settled. Let's start the search." Their heartless words resounded throughout the classroom but they did not notice the slight movement of some of the debris.
"Your final attack vaporized him. I can't even find a single piece of hair."
"That's a necessary move, Ahmed. When fighting a wicked person, one must incinerate every piece of their body so that they can never taint the world, even in death. And besides, it will make our job easier. There's nothing else left to bury, so we can only make a monument or something. No need to dig an actual grave for him."
"Oi! I found pieces of his uniform."
"There's still a part of him remaining. Tch. Now kindly step aside Shin, let me purify the world."
David and Ahmed were quick to hold back the devout looking Jin, his eyes stained by the fanaticism to clean the mortal plane.
"You should stop that Jin. Jiang was our precious friend. Even if he took the wicked path but he was still our friend. And even in death, let us remember him by this piece of torn clothing. That's what Jiang would have wanted, to be remembered by us, his friends."
After Shin's heartwarming speech, Jin's eyes returned to its normal clarity. "You're right Shin. We cannot desecrate our friend like this."
"Who are you calling your friend?!!!!" A furious voice roared underneath a pile of rubble.
"Aha! I knew you're still alive, evildoer. Ready yourselves guys. This time, we'll cleanse the world for real!"
"Kuhahahaha! You won't be cleaning anything Jin."
"Shut up vile person! No one can stop the hammer of justice. I am justice!"
"Heh." Jiang scoffed. He merely gave a gaze someone would give to an idiot.
"Don't tell me." The confident expression of Jin crumbled like paper soaked in water.
"That's right. Enkidu has you now."
Jin tilted his head downwards like a broken doll. His fears were proven correct seeing an all too familiar chain wrapped around his ankles. It was the same case for the other 3, now reverting to their original forms.
"This is a misunderstanding Jiang! It's just a friendly spar. You know how the tournament is near, we must do our best to hone our abilities. This is our way of helping you get good results in the upcoming tournament. If anyone has any malicious intent on you, that would be Jin. You could tell by his dodgy face."
'You were having fun back there David..'
"That's right! It was all Jin's fault. It was his orders to fight. I can't fight against my superiors. It was all his orders, it came from his mouth. You can't blame me! All I did was follow orders. You'll understand right?"
'Shut up Shin! You don't want to be called Jin's minister. That sour face earlier cannot be faked.'
"I have nothing to say. If you want to destroy someone, destroy Jin. I'm clearly without fault here."
'I can buy a better friendship from a discount bin!'
"No need to worry. Jin will have his due in no time."
"Jiang. You really are our friend."
"I am not finished yet. Though Jin will suffer. I did not state that you will get away scot-free. Prepare yourselves, David, Shin, and Ahmed."
*gulp*

As screams of agony and suffering reverberated, Ye Han remained completely silent throughout the fight. It was the same for the other spectators, their popcorns about to run out of pieces to stuff in their mouths.
'I've been having weird feelings about those powers. Looks familiar.' Ye Han's eyebrows slightly scrunched in wonder. 'But this girl Bryn is something else.'
"You deployed a barrier around them. But I noticed that it did not block the sound as I could hear explosions and crashes. Could you enlighten me regarding this matter."
A slight look of shock adorned Bryn's face. For the first time, her ice-cold face held an expression. But it was then replaced by a look of amusement. "You are interesting. You're the first one of my generation to point this out. Very well, I shall satisfy that curiosity."
'Another prideful brat. Shockers.'
"What you just witnessed is my ability, Svalinn. It was derived from the legendary shield that protected the world from the flames of the sun."
Alice's ears perked up hearing the legendary name. "Do you mean that legendary Svalinn? But it was already destroyed long ago."
"That's why it was derived. It's just a technique with the same name. The genuine item is many folds better than my ability," she said as her voice carried a sense of longing.
"A shield that is on par with Prydwen and Aegis. Its legend soared during the Great Scorch where 9 primordial beings, the Golden Crows almost razed the entirety of the world. Able to greatly resist, if not, nullify fire-based attacks and clash head-on with a world level abilities. But it was mostly used as a shield to protect a vast area of land. Because of its unique ability, it could let nonlethal elements inside. If it were normal barriers deployed to cover a city, you can guess what will happen. Everyone would be suffocated in no time as energy levels remain stagnant or worst, dry up. and if those barriers could let energy inside, it would be too weak to protect everyone inside."
"So that's what's going on." Ye Han nodded.
"Have you heard of its tale, Ye Han?" Alice called.
"No." He hatefully said. 'Maybe reading the history books first instead of the cookbooks would have helped me.'
"Even Aegis and Prydwen?"
"No."
"Did you live under a rock?"
