As I was in my room Adam was playing with a tennis ball and bouncing it on the wall by the door I was on the side of the bed a had my sketch book I was drawing adam while he was playing with the ball I look at him and he chuckled and said "is it good?" I look at him and say "great" and I show him some that I did he looks amazed and I say are you hungry I'm going to fix some hash browns want some he smiles and says yes I say "ok I'll be back" he smiles and says "I'll check up on you soon" I look at him and say "ok adam I'll be back" as I close the door and go down the stairs and start cooking I then make us some dessert and ponder if I should make cake pops I look at the stuff I need to make forgetting the burner is on I lay my palm on it and I yell all you see is my hand turn red and I am in pain adam hears my scream and runs down the stairs as I just look at my palm in pain, I have no idea what to do as adam takes my hand and run it under cold water as I'm still in pain and I look at adam and say "sorry Adam I wasn't paying attention to the burners and I set my hand on it I thought it was off" I was starting to cry because the pain is going away and I had to make adam worry about me
