When the meeting and the plan were concluded everyone went out of their way to tell each of their respective group what the meeting contains and the plan to secure the convoy; except for Charl and the knights who remained at the tent.
On their way to where Razlov and Carson's band had set camp, Carson talks to Razlov.
"Razlov, what do you think about the task that has been given to us?" asks Carson
"What's there need to think about? It is in plain sight that they don't really trust us, the perimeter of 15 meters for giving out warning is just an excuse, they are clearly treating us as cannon fodder for letting us take the first brunt of the attack; giving them time to react and not be taken by surprise. Usually, you wouldn't put those people that you don't trust in that kind of duty of monitoring and giving out warnings as they may be colluding with the enemy. Instead, they should have put those people that they trust to prevent any backstabbing" reply Razlov
"That's what I also thought, they are treating us like tools," said Carson in a displeased tone
Razlov just shrugged and said "It can't be helped that they don't trust us because unlike us, they are bound by duty that restricts them while we are not and if the situation becomes dire enough; we could always abandon this mission anytime we want"
Carson thought into it and said "Your right, we could always abandon this mission when it gets too dangerous. We are not like them that would do anything even fighting to the death of just trying to protect the cargo. But still, that's 15,000 gold coins; it would be a shame if we don't get to have that amount of gold coins and just escape immediately with empty hands if it's too dangerous... Sigh"
"I can't help but agree with you with that, it would really be a shame. That's why both of our group should look out for each other's back to get through this mission unscathed; if we want to get that reward" seriously said Razlov.
Without both of them noticing, they have already arrived at where their groups had set camps. They then both came to an agreement to work together and went to their own respective camps. There, they discuss with their group what the content of the meeting and the task they were given.
When the night has arrived Razlov and Carson's group gathered together around a bonfire to have a meal while also getting the hang of each other as their groups would be working together and watches each other's back.
While they were having a meal Carson notice something and ask " Hey, Razlov, why are your subordinates are not even look bothered with the task that has been given to us?"
"Right, I also have noticed it" added Tirso then he looks at Razlov and said, "Did you even told them about the task and the situation we would be in?"
"Yeah, I told them" reply Razlov
"Then why are they calm and compose; knowing what situation we would be in once the convoy starts moving... Perhaps, you have not told them everything or you have some kind of a plan to make it through this mission and that's why your subordinates have the confidence to face it" said Carson suspiciously
"Haha" Razlov laughed at what Carson had just said and could only shake his head in denial, he then said "You are just exaggerating it, I don't have any plan and I have told them everything without concealing anything. All I did was to make all the necessary preparation in case of any situation that we would be in"
The 'preparation' Razlov was talking about is the purchasing of night vision goggles that can be mounted on a helmet. In that way, they would have a better sight even in the night and not be obstructed by the darkness of the night. And with the night vision goggles, they would gain the advantage over the enemy in night battles as they would not be using any kind of lightings like torch or flashlight just to see where they would be walking because the lightings would give out their position and it gives the sign that there are people with the lights it emitted.
Razlov was able to purchase night vision goggles because the Misc. category in the Item shop is unlike the other categories which are only limited to a certain time-frame and you could only obtain the more advanced weaponry by unlocking it through and after a mission is complete. While the Misc. category has items that don't need to be unlocked by going through missions instead it has a wide variety of items; although, just like the category's name, it's all miscellaneous items and that's why Razlov was able to purchase a PSP back then.
"Ohh, so that explains why your subordinates are calm and composed. It's because you have already made the necessary preparation and prepared yourselves for tomorrow's mission" said Carson
"Hmm" Tirso got into thinking for a bit and then talks to Carson "Carson, I think we should also make preparations and prepare ourselves; running every scenario we would encounter during the travel and how to counter them"
"That's right, we should also do that" Carson said then he looks at Razlov and said "Razlov, we would be excusing ourselves as we have to prepare"
Carson then said goodbye to Razlov then he and his group went back to their camp to prepare themselves. While Razlov and his group remained and continue with their meals as they are chatting merrily. And when it was already time to sleep, they all went to each of their respective tents as tomorrow will be the start of their travel to escort the cargo the capital.

The next day before the sun rises, Razlov was already awake and was doing some stretching along with his subordinates. And when the sun had risen, Razlov saw more than 300 soldiers lead by Charl Kane walked out of their camp and then they went inside Sanloris to go to the port.
Charl and his soldiers went on their way to the port. When they arrive at the port, they took over the security of it; conducting strict security over the port and checking everyone who goes in and out of the port; making sure that everything is alright and no suspicious person would be able to enter the port.
At 8 in the morning, the first ship carrying the cargo meant to be transported to the capital arrives. Charl then instructed the sailors of the ship to start unloading the cargo, 10 cargos covered in cloth with the size of a dining table were unloaded by the sailors with the assistance of the soldiers as they are heavy and then each of it was put in a carriage they have long prepared. And at 10 in the morning, the second ship has arrived along with it is also 10 cargos covered in cloth but these items are clearly different from the previous ones as they are a bit bigger than the former. After the 20 cargos were each put in a carriage, Charl then leads the 20 carriage convoy out of the port and back to their camp.
When the convoy arrived at the camp, Razlov and Carson's team started to pack up and prepared for travel. They then went to their designated position which is in the perimeter of 15 meters on the right side of the convoy.
"Is everyone in position?" asks Charl to the knight beside him.
"Yes sir, everyone is ready and are in position" reply the knight
"Alright, LET'S DEPART!!" Charl shouted

I wasn't able to update chapters these past few days is because I was having a mild fever and couldn't write properly. After working for 6 days and nights with lack of sleep, I got soaked in the rain, then got a runny nose then to clogged nose, and then to mild fever but I still have to go to work as it would be a loss to take a few absences over a mild fever; I have been taking vitamins and getting to sleep early not having the time to write. And finally, after a few days of getting to sleep early and taking vitamins, I have finally recovered.
