The sound of chirping birds and the wind blowing through the trees woke Alina up. Sh sat up and stretched her arms high in the air. She took in a deep yawn and let her arms down. The sun shined in from outside. She could smell the savory aroma of cooking eggs. She opened her tent to find Lyle frying eggs over a fire. Alina crawled out of the tent and stood up.
"I thought you would run away during the night" Alina said as she strode over to where Lyle was cooking.
"I only didn't leave because I think we can help each other" Lyle replied as he flipped the eggs over.
"Help each other with what?" Alina questioned.
"Finding who set fire to our homes" Lyle said with a confident tone " if we find them we can make them pay for what they did."
Alina thought to herself about if they would even find them.
The eggs were done and they sat eating and in total silence. The only sound was of the surrounding areas. The eggs were warm and soft in Alina's mouth. She savored its taste. When she was done she set down her plate and stood up. Lyle still sat there eating. Alina walked over to her tent and pulled out her sack. She sat back down and opened it. Inside was about four books, a lot of clothes, her sword and tiara. Alina stuck her hand in side and pulled out a new set of clothes for the day. She set down the sack and went into the tent to change. She came out with a green shirt on and a pair of leggings with combat boots. She picked her sack,up again and pulled out her sword. She strapped it around her waist and secured it. She looked ready for travel. She sat back down by Lyle and said, "Lets get going."
