So with Ma Teng's words to ready his army, Pang De alongside Ma Chao stationed their army in the north of Chang'An, where they also reduced the amount of patrol between Chang'An and Tong Gate not knowing that this was the perfect moment for Cao Cao's Army to exploit, where they send their army lead by Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Zhang Ji to Chang'An under the cover of the night using the shortcut from Jia Kui who received it from Han Sui.
Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Zhang Ji led 200,000 men which 50,000 were a reinforcement for them toward Chang'An, using the shortcut information from Han Sui they headed north from Tong Pass toward upstream of the river.
When they reach the location, they find the road that Han Sui informed them of through Jia Kui. The problem is that the road is too small for the entire army to pass through due to it being between a cliff, so Cao Ren assigned the army into several groups.
He will lead the first group, Xu Huang lead the second group, and lastly, Zhang Ji will lead the third group to pass through the road.
Afraid that they would consume a large amount of time and wouldn't manage to arrive at Chang'An in time, Cao Ren told both Xu Huang and Zhang Ji that they needed to fasten the speed of their march through the road, as time was of the essence for them.
So without further ado, under Cao Ren's leadership, the first group of Cao Cao's Army advanced through the road, followed by Xu Huang's group, and then Zhang Ji's group spending several hours before the entirety of the army passed.
When all of the armies managed to pass through, Cao Ren regrouped the army into the formation that he had assembled for the army, where they could begin their assault on Chang'An as soon as they arrived.
When Cao Ren and Cao Cao's Army were on their way to Chang'An under the cover of the night, the tension between Han Sui and Ma Teng reached a new height, where Han Sui also mobilized his army at the same time as Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Zhang Ji lead Cao Cao's Army to Chang'An.
The mobilization of Han Sui's 50,000 men Army caused Pang De and Ma Chao who already mobilized Ma Teng's Army march toward a village between Chang'An and Anding.
They brought around 125,000 men, the whole army that was stationed at Chang'An, while the rest of Ma Teng's Army was scattered around his domain which had expanded massively after defeating Han Sui.
Both of them were very confident in defeating Han Sui, even though the 50,000 men under Han Sui were the cream of the crop of Han Sui's men, the number advantage was on their side and their men were also experienced, soldiers.
Han Sui accompanied by his Eight Rider generals, Jia Kui, and Li Dian led his 50,000 men to meet with Ma Chao and Pang De in the village, to buy some time Han Sui raised a white flag asking for a parley.
Seeing the request for parley requested by Han Sui, both Ma Chao and Pang De accepted the request and accompanied by their men, both sides met up at the center field between both armies.
Han Sui was accompanied by Cheng Yi, Liang Xing, and Jia Kui alongside several men while Pang De and Ma Chao brought several men alongside them as well.
When Ma Chao saw Han Sui, he wanted to punch the smug look on his face but Pang De managed to curb his impulsiveness, and he turned to Han Sui to ask him what is the reason for his parley request.
Pang De: "Han Sui! We have answered your request for a parley, so tell us what is the reason for you to ask for a parley? Go straight to the point, don't want our time."
Han Sui: "Haha! General Pang De, please relax I never expected that you could have such a temper, I still lamented that you chose to join Ma Teng and not me, you would have had a much brighter future if you joined me in the past."
Ma Chao: "Just talk straight to the point Han Sui! In the past, I was proud to call you uncle, but right now you only make me sick in my stomach whenever I see your face, so let's fasten our meeting for the good of both sides and begin to fight."
Jia Kui: "General Ma Chao please watch your words, General Han Sui is much older than you and was your elder before your father and he came to blow, I see that your Father identified teach you manners and only martial arts."
Ma Chao: "You Bastard! what did you say about my father?! Who are you to just suddenly barge in between our conversation?!"
Han Sui: "Nephew Ma Chao this is Master Jia Kui, an advisor that opened my mind to see that your Father cheated me from almost all of my domain, and with his help, we managed to hatch a plan to take it all back!"
Ma Chao: "Haha what a joke! This is the best joke I have heard in my life! What kind of plan could you and this advisor hatch hmm? Don't forget we outnumbered your army and we have th-."
Pang De: "Wait a minute, what did you just call Han Sui? General? How could you just call your lord a general, Han Sui I didn't expect that you just accept this treatment haha!"
Pang De's words caused Ma Chao to laugh alongside him, and Han Sui seeing their happiness began to drop the true bomb on them, by saying that what Jia Kui had just called him was right, because he was only a general now.
Hearing what Han Sui had just said the two of them were surprised, and before they could ask what Han Sui meant by saying that, Jia Kui then told both Pang De and Ma Chao that Han Sui was no longer a Warlod anymore.
Now he was a General who had sworn his allegiance to Cao Cao, bringing all of his army and domain to serve Cao Cao, and right now the two of them had entered a well crafted trap.
Listening to the words Jia Kui had just said, Pang
De and Ma Chao were shocked, and before they could clarify their words, suddenly a messenger barged into their conversation.
The messenger comes from Pang De and Ma Chao's side, where he whispers to both Pang De and Ma Chao about a sudden emergency situation in Chang'An, and that they need to retreat to reinforce Chang'An as they were attacked.
This news caused both PP.angang De and Ma Chao to be shocked and their faces changed, and their changing faces were seen by Han Sui, Cheng Yi, Liang Xing, and Jia Kui.
The messenger arrivals indicate that Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Liang Xing have arrived at Chang'An, and before Han Sui could say anything both Pang De and Ma Chao turned their horses and rode back to their formation.
Han Sui and Jia Kui seeing this just let out a chuckle, and they also returned to their formation where Jia Kui told Han Sui that he could attack the rear of Pang De and Ma Chao's Army formation when they marched toward Chang'An.
As of right now, the two were in a state of panic, and Jia Kui felt that this was the perfect moment as Ma Chao and Pang De were distracted by the arrival of their main army, which also could buy the main army some time.
The battle at the village between Chang'An and Anding already ended before it could even start, at Chang'An Ma Teng announced an emergency situation and led the defense of Chang'An against the sudden attack from Cao Cao.
He was truly caught off guard as he didn't expect Cao Cao would suddenly attack him, even though the entire army stationed at Chang'An was brought by both Pang De and Ma Chao to meet with Han Sui, there were still city guards and soldiers to guard Chang'An.
There were around 10,000 men under Ma Teng's current disposal, but seeing the 200,000 men under the wall of Chang'An, he doesn't know how long he could hold on.
He also sent out a letter to both Pang De and Ma Chao to hurry to return, to help him in repelling Cao Cao's attack on Chang'An because with the men at his disposal right now it would only be suicide.
He needed the Army under Ma Chao and Pang De to at least minimize the number advantage Cao Cao's Army had over him, and both Ma Chao alongside Pang De were also large firepower for him to fight against Cao Cao's generals.
What he doesn't know is that when Pang De and Ma Chao ordered their army to return back to Chang'An, they let their guard down and were attacked by Han Sui and his army from behind.
This caused Pang De to stay put and lead 50,000 men to fight against Han Sui, and let Ma Chao let the rest of the soldiers 75,000 men reinforce his father in Chang'An.
Ma Chao wanted to argue against Pang De's decision but hearing the finality in Pang De's tone and how serious his face was when he said that, Ma Chao could only nod his head and led 75,000 men to Chang'An.
Pang De led the 50,000 men to fight against Han Sui and his Army, unfortunately, Pang De didn't realize that Han Sui had the Eight Rider Generals, and with Li Dian entering the mix combined with Jia Kui's military strategy, he and his men was soon suppressed by Han Sui and his army.
So when Ma Teng who was preparing the defenses against Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Zhang Ji's Army began their attack on Chang'An, Ma Chao who ordered his army to march as fast as they could, managed to arrive at Chang'An.
Ma Teng who saw the arrival of his army heaved a sigh of relief, as he didn't know how to guard Chang'An with 10,000 men fighting against hundreds of thousands of enemies, and due to them coming from the north they could enter Chang'An to join on the defenses, where Cao Ren, Xu Huang, and Zhang Ji could actually stop them but they let them past to let Ma Teng's men waste more energy, which will be easy picking for them during the siege battle.
