Aylin Lui was dead tired.
After Ethan Chance cleaned Aylin Lui up, he carried her out of the bathroom.
He gently put her on the bed.
Looking at the exhausted wife on the bed made Ethan Chance feel bad. He knows both want it, but anytime they are done making love, he feels like he's using too much energy on her.
Covering her with a blanket and kissing her on the forehead then he walks in the bathroom to take a quick shower.
After shower, he goes to bed. Laying down next to Aylin Lui.
Taking her in his arms and wrapping it tightly.
Ethan Chance was in a deep thought. Closing his eyes and kissing Aylin Lui's forehead to say good night.
Their naked bodies touch and keep each other warm.
Both didn't bother putting their clothes on since they saw each other naked bodies.
With a heavy heart, Ethan Chance sighed. He lost in his thoughts and ended up saying what's in his mind out loud "Love, please don't leave me…. I'm begging you…. Can you please stay with me?"
When he heard what Aylin Lui said while he's piggybacking her on his back, he didn't say anything. But, that doesn't mean he didn't care.
He doesn't want his wife to leave him behind like his mom did. Worry and fear rushed inside his heart.
Just thinking about his wife leaving him made it hard for Ethan Chance to fall asleep.
Holding the woman in his arms tightly fearing that she'll disappear if he loses just a little of his grip.
"Please don't leave…."
His hard grip woke Aylin Lui up. Before she could fall back asleep, she heard what the man holding her said.
Without saying anything, she went back to sleep in Ethan Chance arms.
The next morning when Ethan Chance woke up, the woman sleeping next to him was nowhere to be seen.
He touched her place and it was cold.
He sat himself down on the bed, leaning toward the bed frame with his head down and his hands hanging on his knees.
"You still leave….. I hope you don't leave." He murmurs.
Ethan Chance was a light sleeper. When someone or something moves near him, he wakes up right away.
But, with Aylin Lui around, he doesn't notice a thing when she comes in and out.
'When did she leave? At least she should say goodbye to me before she leaves. Why does every single person that I love always leave me? Am I destined to get hurt and be alone forever?'
Ethan Chance sorted out his thoughts and dragged his heavy body with heavy heart out of the bed and walked in the bathroom to clean himself up.
After a quick morning shower, he got dressed up and walked down to the living room.
His feet stopped in its tracks when he noticed the woman sitting on the sofa drinking her coffee with magazines in her hands.
A heavy weight lift on his heavy heart and a smile spreading on his face.
His legs start moving faster and run toward the woman sitting on the sofa with happiness 'she didn't leave. She didn't leave me.'
When he reaches the sofa, he reaches out his hands and pulls the woman on the sofa in his arms.
Buried his face on Aylin Lui's shoulder. He didn't know how to describe how happy he is right now.
When he saw Aylin Lui sitting on the sofa, he thought he's seeing things.
He never thought that his wish would finally come true. He was so happy that he tighten his arms grips around Aylin Lui.
His hug was so tight that it made Aylin Lui unable to breathe.
Gently patted Ethan Chance's arm "you're making it hard for me to breathe."
Hearing his wife's words, he loses his hands around her. He lets go of her and coughs a little with embarrassment.
Avoiding her eyes while taking a coffee cup in his hand and poured himself a cup of coffee "morning love."
Seeing Ethan Chance not acting like himself made Aylin Lui find it cute.
She smiles at him lovelies. Throwing her body in Ethan Chance's arms. Wrapping her arms around Ethan Chance's chest. She stares at his eyes "morning hubby. Where's my morning kiss?"
Ethan Chance was caught off guard when Aylin Lui threw her body in his and he almost spilled the coffee in his hand.
He was quick to put down his coffee cup before Aylin Lui's body reached him.
With a pouty face "don't tell me you forget about your wife since your lover is back!"
Aylin Lui let go of Ethan Chance's chest and sat herself on the sofa "it's understandable, since you are with her longer than me. I'm just some stranger who Leo forced you to marry."
When the warm soft body pulled away from Ethan Chance's chest, it made him feel like the cold breezes hit him really hard.
He doesn't like this feeling. And when he heard Aylin Lui bring up Angela and that he was forced to marry her, it made him feel hurt.
Ethan Chance doesn't want to talk about Angela, because she's the past.
And he married Aylin Lui because he loves her. Not because Leo forced him. If not for love, he wouldn't have asked Aylin Lui to marry him in front of so many people on the engagement day.
Moving closer to Aylin Lui, cupping his hands on her face and kissing her lips hungrily.
He parts their lips a little "don't bring her up or mention her. She's the past. She's just my ex and you're my wife. We have a bright future ahead of us. Don't talk about the things that will make you unhappy."
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, not her. Aylin Lui is my wife, not Angela. Keep that in mind."
Biting her lower lips before letting go of it.
Looking her in the eyes with his palms still cupping her face "I thought you said you're leaving overseas this morning! What made you stay? Is everything alright?"
Hearing what Ethan Chance said. She Pinched Ethane Chance's left cheek "it seems like you're not happy with my staying. I should've left. If not because of a certain someone begging me not to leave, do you think I'll stay?"
She let go of Ethan Chance's cheek "I know you don't really mean what you said. I'll leave this afternoon, so don't worry."
Aylin Lui breaks free from Ethan Chance's palms. She stood up "Alright. I still need to pack." Then she walks away from Ethan Chance.
