After Aylin Lui and Ethan Chance changed into comfortable clothes.
Aylin Lui wears black loose comfy pants and a solid bustier crop tube top. And Ethan Chance wears black slant pocket solid pants and a white t-shirt and a black jacket.
Her outfit was showing off her perfect body line. It makes her look like a carefree teenage girl.
Her long, black hair flowed gracefully down her back. When she walked, her beautiful black hair would sway as the wind blew. Her tall and slender finger looks so graceful with her long hair and bright smile.
They pick up one of Aylin Lui's normal cars that is not eye-catching and drive to the night market.
"Are you sure you don't want to go somewhere else?" Ethan Chance asked worryingly.
Ethan Chance doesn't want Aylin Lui to get sick eating something not healthy. Plus, it's not safe to be in a crowded place. Who knows what kind of people will be there.
Ethan Chance doesn't want any bad thing to happen to his little wife.
Seeing Ethan Chance's worried expression, Aylin Lui knew that he's worrying about their safety. Aylin Lui can tell that he has never been there before.
There's lots of people there and it's not hard for someone to stir up trouble there.
But Aylin Lui has been there a few times and nothing like tha happens.
Aylin Lui took Ethan Chance's hand in hers and said "don't worry. Everyone there is nice. They're the cutest people you'll ever see. Plus the food there is the best."
Ethan Chance knows that his wife is determined to go there no matter what. He knew he couldn't change her mind.
"Alas, you can rest assured. I promise I'll protect you." Aylin Lui winks "you know, your wife is not that weak."
Ethan Chance sighs. He knows nothing can change her mind. When she puts her mind on something, she always makes sure that happens.
When they reached their destination, it was around 9 pm and there's lots of people there.
The streets were filled with people.
Everyone was chatting happily. One could tell that this place is full of ordering people. Most of the salespeople are elderly or mid aged women and men.
On the street, families are walking around hand in hand with love in their eyes and Beautiful smiles on their faces.
Ethan Chance and Aylin Lui got out of the car and started walking in the street full of people.
Aylin Lui hugged Ethan Chance's arm and leaned her head against Ethan Chance's shoulder.
The smell of the food captivated Aylin Lui's nose. She knew how delicious it would be. Her big beautiful eyes lit up and ran to the food stall happily.
Aylin Lui was good looking and quite tall. Even if she was wearing simple clothes, she still stood out. And an exceptional beauty such as her would surely attract the attention of many people in the street market.
Ethan Chance was a little surprised. When he met her for the first time, he recognized Aylin Lui as someone whose Leo took in.
The more Ethan Chance spends time with her, the more he's eager to know more about her.
At first Ethan Chance thought she's just a maid Leo took in from the countryside. But later, he found out that she's not that simple. Her background is still mysterious. He couldn't get anything even though he hired the experts to do investigations on Aylin Lui's background.
One thing that for sure is she's not some broken person from the countryside. She comes from a rich family and Ethan Chance still doesn't know how rich Aylin Lui is.
Ethan Chance never thought that one day he would have to accompany Aylin Lui to a crowded place like this. Plus the foods on the street are not healthy. Since he was a little kid, he never ate street foods.
Plus it was rare for such a lady from a well-off family to enjoy the street foods. The women from rich families never step foot in poor neighborhoods, nor eat cheap foods.
But the woman in front of him doesn't care about status. She eats and dresses like ordinary people. She doesn't seem like a rich lady at all.
Seeing his little wife smile happily in front of the food's stall, Ethan Chance's expression softened and walked up to her.
'No wonder Leo forced me to marry her at all cost and said that one day I'll like her.' Ethan Chance thought. 'Not only I am starting to like her but I love her. The more I spend time with her, the more I want to keep her by myself.'
Surprisingly he seems to like her in a blink of an eye.
'She's a really good person. She's beautiful but not arrogant like any other rich ladies, and she's kind and thoughtful. It's not often that you find such a kind lady from a rich family.' Ethan Chance looked intently at Aylin Lui, feeling so pleased with her. 'Only if people think and be like her, social morality will improve and the world will be a much better place.'
'I'm going to protect this carefree lady the rest of my life. I'll never let her smile fade away.' Ethan Chance thought in his head and then he sighs 'only if she's weak and poor. But she's not weak nor poor. Since day one, she has never asked for my help. She always took care of things by herself and even took care of my enemies in secret.'
If Ethan Chance didn't investigate what happened to the gang that hurted him before after finding out the reason why they disappeared without anyone knowing, he would never have found out that his little wife was the one who wiped those gangs out.'
At the time, they're still strangers to each other.
In a blink of an eye, Aylin Lui became the most important person in his life.
At first, he doesn't care much about Aylin Lui. Thinking that she's just someone Leo chose because she's Leo's friend's daughter. He married her not because he likes her. And he accepted her after their marriage because they slept together on their wedding night and took her virginity.
For him, it's his duty after sleeping with her. It's not his problem if he likes her or not.
But to his surprise, he doesn't seem to hate her and grows to like her instead. And now he can't even take his eyes off her.
