The golem raised both of its hand and swung it down. The target was none other than Arata and Yamato. Yamato clicked his tongue and kick Arata out of the area where the golem about to hit.
"I'm sorry!"
"Kh!?"
Because of his big shield, Yamato doesn't have the option to dodge while carrying Arata. He kicked Arata strong enough to make Arata raised a pained voice.
He prepared his shield to receive the impact from the golem. He activated both Physical Enhance and Body Hardening at the same time. And his body illuminated a faint light.
Physical Enhance is a skill to increase the user physical stats by 10%, and the body Hardening skill is to increase 5% of the user physical and magical resist but because Yamato has a raise in hardening effectiveness skill, now the hardening skill increased 10% of Yamato resistance stats.
"Uoooooo!"
He screamed while protecting himself behind his shield. Doonnn!! such sounds can be heard when the shield took the impact. The ground where Yamato stand's wrecked because of the enormous impact he took with his shield.
But then, behind the golem is one of the knights, his name was Smith. He was the vice-commander of the Yocht knight. With both of his hand touching the ground he chants his magic.
"O'Earth show us your wrath,"Earth Spike"."
After that, the ground where Ruby Golem stand surged and made the golem lost its balance. When the golem lost its balance, Yamato used the chance to hit it with his shield.
"Uoorraaaaa!" he yelled.
Bang!!, the golem fly when its body received the impact from Yamato who's buffed with Physical Enhance. Smith ran to Yamato's side and try to talk to him.
"Yamato seems like Haruna, Shizuku, and Commander has a plan."
"What's the plan?"
"I don't know." He paused for a moment, "But it seemed like they need some time to prepare something."
"What are you trying to say?" Yamato replied while scratching his head.
The last respond made Smith look at Yamato in amazement, "This person is truly a muscle-head," he thought inside his head while looking at Yamato.
"I mean, we need to buy them some time to prepare."
"Understood."
Yamato said it while readied his shield, looking at the golem that already stands and ready to attack. The golem face's somehow changed, the golem is smiling. He touched the nearby ground, and then she used her ground bending skill and changed the ground form into a ball.
"What the hell?"
Smith looked at the golem smiling face while feeling a terrible feeling. He put the ball earth under its feet and gripped its bole. Next, the golem body is in a stance that is ready to hit the golf ball.
"For real?"
Yamato looked at the golem with his eyes opened wide and sweat running on his forehead. No matter how muscle-headed he was, he knew his current situation is bad. Yamato could only smile wryly while prepare his shield while asking Smith to get away.
"Smith-san, please leave that attack to me."
"But!"
"I-it's okay, this is my role."
Even Yamato worry about his own life, and noticed that made Smith looked at Yamato and said,
"Don't worry this is my role too. I cannot let the heroes died in a place like this." Smith said it with a smile.
"... I'm counting on you then."
And, Booom! the golem hit the earth ball with his bole. The golem hit it so strong that it destroys the earth ball and turned into stone flakes that are flying in high speed.
"Blow it away,"Wind Wall"."
"Protect us, Barrier!"
After that, a wind wall appeared on the way of the stone flakes toward their target. Smith used the magic with hope to change its direction, but the speed is way too fast that the wind doesn't affect it at all.
When the stone flakes came into contact with Yamato light-shield, the shield doesn't explode. Instead, it broke just like a mirror, because of magic exhaustion he doesn't have the required magic to make the offensive defense type barrier. The number light-shield Yamato cast is about 10, but the shield's destroyed one by one just like butter that's pierced by a knife.
But in such a situation, Runa appeared in front of Smith and Yamato. She tapped her feet to the ground and, A wall with 3-meter in thickness appeared in front of her.
"Yamato-san, use your hardening skill to this wall."
"O-ou!"
He immediately cast the hardening skill to the wall, the wall emitted similar light to his light shield, and a shield sign appeared on the wall. And then, the stone flakes bumped the wall, the stone stopped without able to pierce half of the wall.
And this made Smith and Yamato sigh in relieved. Runa looked at both of them and talked.
"Good work Yamato-san, Smith-san. Please leave the rest to me."
Hearing this made Smith and Yamato looked at Runa.
"But how will you fight that?"
"Yeah, That thing is not something you can handle with your bow."
The first one to ask was Smith then added by Yamato. Runa knew golem is not something he can defeat with his bow. That's why,
"That's why I won't use my bow?"
"What?"
That made the two looked to Runa with an astonished face. Then, Runa tried to take something from her mantel pocket.
"I'll use this."
He took out an ore. The ore is deep black, the size was at least about as big as a pebble. But on his hand, there was 7 ore. Runa happens to see it at one booth that sell stuff at the dungeon entrance. When her curiosity takes over, she touched the ore and appraised it.
"Is that Ferro Ore? What will that do? it will only turn into a sand you know?" Smith said it with a doubtful face.
That phrase made Runa realized just how low the knights looked at her. Runa felt annoyed because of the wave of a question. She ignored them and began to work. She names one of her skill with a small mutter,
"Projection: On."
After she said that, her whole body is cladded with lightning, as for the ore it turned into iron sand bit by bit. This made the two looked at Runa with a flustered face. When all the ore on her hand turned to iron sand, the sand is swirling on her hand, and taking a form of a sword.
"Anything is usable, the only problem is how you use it efficiently." She said it as she held the iron dust in sword form.
Next, the lightning not just cladded Runa body, it sparked lightning and strike the Golem. But, as expected it did nothing to the golem.
"What the hell." Yamato said it and paused for a moment, "Isn't that Shizuku's sword specialty?"
"Yeah, so what is it?"
Runa answered Yamato question easily like it wasn't something unusual. But then,
"It is strange! Just how can you use the specialty of an artifact?" Smith rebuke Runa.
"Please calm down, is that even matter? Look at our situation."
Runa said it with her usual expression, but that made the two back to their sense as they looked around.
The sword on her hand is Iron sand. She can manipulate the iron sand with electromagnetism which can vibrate ten times stronger than a chainsaw. By making the sand particles of the blade vibrate, she can dramatically increase the weapon's cutting power into something resembling that of a chainsaw. She learned this way of using her electro magnetism from a certain novel on her previous world as a preference.
How can she manipulate the iron sand with electromagnetism? The other days, when the party returned to the kingdom early because of Brian order, Runa analyzed Shizuku's sword and stea... borrowed the sword specialty and make it her own. The skill she got from the sword is Electro Master, to put it simply she can generate and manipulate electricity.
But to use this skill, she has to activate the Projection skill because she has to read the data. And she needs a few seconds to read all the data. Herself, want to change the data to skill so she can use the skill without any need to open her projection. But, she doesn't have the ability to do so.
After shutting Smith and Yamato mouth down, Runa used Highspeed Movement to cut the distance between her and the Ruby Golem. The golem noticed there's one person is coming closer. When the golem looked at the girl, that's cladded in lightning, she realized that the girl was the one who stroke him with lightning.
The golem looked down on Runa, the golem doesn't even move. But, Runa ignored that as she cut the distance between them. When the golem is inside Runa's sword strike zone, she swung her sword horizontally. Zrashhh, with one hit both of the golem legs are severed.
Losing both of its legs, the golem lost its balance and fall. But Runa won't give her enemy any lax, she took a few steps back and kept on attacking. Next, she easily cut one of the golem hand. And behind the golem she used her transmutation to make a foothold, she stepped on it to change her direction by 90° and cut the other hands.
Runa instantly did everything with her speed that's enhanced with Highspeed Movement.
Groooaarrrr!
It raised its pained Roar as the golem fell to the ground without any legs and hands. When its body touched the ground, Runa doesn't stop. This time she used her transmutation on the severed legs and hands to restrict its movement. Runa knew the golem has Ground bending skill.
The transmutation she used is only to restrict the golem movement for a moment, she gets on top of the golem and dissolves the iron sand sword, she spread the sand all around the golem body. And with her Electromagnetism, she suppresses the golem body to the ground.
"Now!"
Brian yelled and, Brain, Smith, Yamato, And Clar, one of Brian's subordinate came to where the severed body part of the golem is. They take the severed part as far as possible from the golem.
They do that because of Runa hypothesis. The golem doesn't have healing magic, it has a magic to rewind time on its body. But there is condition to do that, the severed part has to be close to the golem. So they did it, and just as Runa predicted, the severed part doesn't reattach itself like before.
After the severed body part is far enough, it was Shizuku turn to manipulate the iron sand with her sword. She suppressed the golem as for Runa she took a deep inhale and place both of her hand to the Ruby golem core.
The core is the ruby part on its back. Next, she names one of her skill.
"Transmute!"
