Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Rinnggg - The horrid sound of an alarm at 7:30 in the morning.

Angel was not a morning person.

She groaned and rolled over to switch it off. Her foggy brain could only have one thought swirling around its murky depths. Shower time.

The warm water woke her up instantly, like coffee to well... A coffee addict.

After a few lovely minutes, she reluctantly turned the shower off and got dressed. Fashion for this particular morning was a tight-knit grey sweater and some black jeans. Once dressed in her rather boring attire she sighed and grabbed a hairbrush, a tiresome test of patience was about to befall her on this task.

Brushing her hair.

One look in the mirror and she knew that it would take a while, after a very frustrating thirty minutes. Her long, thick white hair was done up in a rather sleek ponytail. Silver glasses perched daintily on the edge of her button nose and she was ready to go.

Now for the hard part. Breakfast.

The thought of food alone was enough to put Angel in a foul mood but combined with the fact she had to eat it? Terrible. Ever since she was a baby Angel had hated food and nobody knew why, she had been to doctor after doctor and none of them could figure out what caused such a lack of interest in eating. It didn't bother Angel that much, except for the fact that it sometimes made her sick, and not the kind of "ooh I have a tummy ache" or headache sick. The kind of sickness that puts you in hospital for weeks, the kind of sickness that brings you so close to death that you can taste it.

But this morning would be different, this morning she would not get sick and this morning she would not throw up. But as Angel neared the kitchen everything seemed like a waste, even the smell of her mum's bacon and eggs made her want to rip out her taste buds. So she quickly grabbed from the fridge the only food she found remotely edible, Dark chocolate.
