The next morning Gen woke up, startled by the loud ringing of his phone. With groggy eyes, he reached for it and he was not at all surprised when he looked at who the caller was. Taking his own time, he sat up on the bed and answered the call lazily.
"Have you said something to her?! Why is she at home?!" Hearing the hiss from the other end, he knew what has happened. The anxiety in Jin Qinggee's voice already gave him the gist of what was happening.
"What happened?"
"I should be the one asking this question! I just received a call from my parents, asking me to come back home. And if I am not wrong, I heard Xiao Li's voice in the background too. Why are they home all of a sudden? As much as I know my sister, she would have never come back to C City unless..." As if realization dawned on her, she gasped. "Please tell me you haven't spilled the beans in front of her."
Gen took a long breath and nodded his head, "I have."
