Chapter 9 - Exit Out (1)

" Little Feng!"

The female called out and immediately said boy appeared.

"Yes? is there something I can do for you, master?"

She shook her head while adjusting the brown cloak she wore. Yang Xia had been preparing to go out.

"No, I'm just going out to survey the area. Do you know where we are?"

Little Feng furrowed his tiny brows with concentration but could only let out a sigh in the end. He shook his head.

"Sorry master but I'm not sure. My previous master locked me here without telling me where we were"

The female hummed in disappointment.

"Alright, I suppose I'll have to find out myself. I'll be going now."

Little Feng said a quick goodbye before Yang Xia left the Soul World.

Yang Xia was back at the cabin and it appeared to be morning judging by the light outside. Looking behind her, she noticed that the stairway leading to where she found the ring was suddenly no longer there. Like it was never there in the first place, although it was weird, Yang Xia paid no mind to it as it was no longer of significance to her.

Four months had rapidly gone by within a blink of an eye. She stretched her arms and legs before making her way outside of the building. Yang Xia decided that the only way to move on with her journey and extract revenge on her cruel stepmother and sister was to explore the outside world. Now that she could finally cultivate, she had some way of protecting herself.

First things first...where the hell was she anyway?

The last thing the original owner of the body remembered was being stabbed by a masked figure and dragged off to this forest to bleed out and die.

'I should probably look for a way out then'

The wind blew silently across the vast forest and the small female relaxed a bit under the gaze of the sun. The forest looked much better in the day than night. She wrapped her cloak tighter against her body and made way through the thick trees ahead of her.

Activating Eyes Beyond, Yang Xia scanned through the area she was walking in. As far as she could see, there were only trees, trees and...more trees. This did not help her in the slightest. She had made no progress whatsoever, and strangely enough, she had yet to see any signs of life in the forest. This situation...was not looking so good. She furrowed her brows and continued walking, refusing to give up.

Almost about to give up, Yang Xia detected signs of life up ahead of her. She cautiously approached. There in front of her were two figures. Very masculine figures, so presumably men. Except they were unconscious on the floor, both men littered with blood and injuries.

The female eyed the two carefully, her left hand gripped tightly around a dagger just in case the situation led to her using it. Coming closer, it didn't seem like the two were going to wake up soon. Bending down, she checked their pulse...alive. For now, at least, both required immediate care for their wounds.

Standing back up, she stared at the two for a moment, her mind conflicted. A part of her scoffed and wanted to leave them to die seeing as taking care of them would be too troublesome, while the other side wanted to use them for information.

'Ah...this hurts my brain...Maybe I should kill them...I can't be sure that they won't attack me first....Maybe I should steal from them... Should I sell their bodies for mo- ah no, that's enough brain'

Shaking those thoughts from her mind, Yang Xia let out a loud sigh as she grabbed both the men by their arm and dragged them back to the cabin...slowly...and probably painfully.

'See Author, this is why I need muscles'

Once she finally made it back to the cabin, Yang Xia dumped their bodies on the floor as she collapsed next to them from exhaustion. This body of hers...was so frustratingly weak! also, why are these guys so damn heavy!!?? this situation was already tiring, and thinking about it now...it was slightly weird too as she was usually the one disposing of bodies, not...saving them.

Entering back into the Soul World, which scared Little Feng as he didn't notice her appearance, Yang Xia went ahead and stuffed the necessary pills and other appliances needed into her cloak pocket, before once again leaving the Soul World.

Yang Xia rolled up her sleeves, cracked her fingers a bit, and got onto rolling the two men onto their backs, to face the ceiling above. She knelt and began to properly examine her two test subje- patients.

looking at their faces...

'Damn...I didn't know this world had really hot guys...Kinda wish I had a camera with me but oh well. I'll just take a mental screenshot hehe'

...

...ugh ( ̄x ̄;)

'hey! you would do the same ╬ '

Both men have nice skin, sharp features, and long lashes. One had silver hair whilst the other had black. However, looking closer...they looked quite similar to one another. Perhaps they were related in some way. Wait, silver hair?! However, thinking back to Little Feng's fiery red hair, she calmed down. Although they were quite attractive, staring at them all day wasn't part of her plan and she needed to focus now.

Taking out the stuff she brought from the Soul World, Yang Xia laid them out on the ground next to her. Taking some of the pills, she stuffed them into their mouths and forced them to swallow before checking their pulse. Seeing as their condition had begun to stabilize, Yang Xia moved onto the more serious injuries.

A few acupunctures and bandages later, the two showed signs of recovery. Yang Xia stood up stretched her legs from sitting down for so long. She felt like she was babysitting, and with that sudden thought she let out an annoyed groan. Her gaze shifted to the two unconscious men, she could only hope that they would help her out of this hell of a forest.
