The Westrolume! A vast market place divided into 4 categories, with each specializing in its own unique goods and services. The Westrolume was approximately 30 km from north to south and about 23 km from east to west, making it the largest market in the entire world of Oterra. Situated in between the cities of Kalur and Brinket, the Westrolume served as a huge source of financial income for those in power, serving as a symbol for The Imperial Overseer and its seemingly unlimited strength and wealth.
The Westrolume specialized in 4 magor categories which each having multiple subcategories that branched off, making it that much more diverse. Anything and everything that one needed or desired could be found here, ranging from food and daily necessities to trinkets and various baubles. The 4 major categories that made up the The Westrolume were Items, Manufacturing, Trade, and Animals. Each one were split apart and extended for miles around, becoming a systematical and complex maze that lacked organization. Unless one was used to travelling through its thousands of streets and alleyways, one could easily become lost. This was yet another way to make money as some vendors stood by and offered maps of each section of the market. Some vendors charged the maps for at least a hundred qins (the current currency recognized throughout Oterra) and this made them a hot commodity as this was considered cheap for common folks. However there were those that couldnt afford to purchase them, these people were the lowest class, the weaklings who struggled to survive through each day. This is where our story begins, inside the Westrolume in one of the various lanes the crisscrossed and branched out creating an ideal place for duels.

"Hey, stop right there you dirty thief!" Yelled a three horned red Trino as he ran down the street, his huge feet digging into the ground as he propelled himself forward. His red skin and 3 horns caused everyone to move out of the way as he chased after a young light green Sympto with dark green hair.
"You give back what you stole you stupid little girl." The young Trino bellowed as he increased his speed. However, the lithe figure of the Sympto was faster as she made a quick turn into a nearby alleyway with lightning fast reflexes leaving the rather large Trino to barrel on past unable to stop due to his own building momentum.
"Ha," The young girl laughed as she peeked her head out of the alleyway, her crimson eyes flashing in excitement as she ran in the opposite direction of the Red Trino. She was so happy about getting away from the first guy that she completely forgot about his fellow companions who had been following him as she ran smack into them.
There was a small crack and she fell backwards, the bag of food she had been carrying falling out of her and blood began spilling from her nose.
"Where the hell do ya think your going you little Sympto?" Laughed the one on the left, a slightly smaller Trino with dark orange skin and one horn sticking out of his nose. The one on the right was a Bultor which was similar to the Trino except for the claws at the end of its feet which could crush concrete to powder.
"There you guys are," said the red Trino who had wondered back after crashing into a stall that sold medicines, his body now covered with numerous fluids, soaking through his clothes.
"The hell happened to you Gunter? You get outsmarted by a measily Sympto?" Said the orange Trino, his hand covering his mouth to stifle a laugh. "Her power level isnt even a 5 and her intelligence should be lower then yours at the very least. How did you get tricked so easily?"
Gunter clenched his teeth and smacked his fist into his palm as he glared at the now cowering girl sitting before him. "You see that little girl, you made me look pretty bad. I wasnt gonna do much to you if you had just given me my stuff back, but now I'm gonna have to beat the lesson into you. HOLD HER!!"
The order resonated throughout the lane as various people around formed a cirlce and began watching closely without uttering a single word. This was normal throughout the world, let alone the Westrolume. Numerous scurmishes would break out but it was considered normal as strength was the deciding factor that determined everything, whether you were in the right or in the wrong was purely determined on one ability for combat.
The two grunts grabbed the arms of the young Sympto and held her up, lifting her to her feet. Gunter smiled and flexed his shoulder, muscles rippling as he pulled his hand back, his arm shimmering as flames began to roll along his arm.
"Ive been developing my fire ability for 2 years and I've finally reached "Novice" level," stated the red Trino with a cocky smirk as the fire began to concentrate towards his fist. "You should feel honored to be my first victim."
"2 years? What a joke!" exclaimed a voice right next to him. "With that level of talent youd be lucky to even make Junior rank in a duel, and you call yourself a fighter?"
The majority of the crown turned their attention to the voice that had arrogantly shouted out. Their eyes landed on a young boy, species unidentifiable, uncommon clothes that looked almost like rags, and pale skin. The feature that drew the attention the most however, was the pale skin, indicating that he didnt even have an elemental powers.
Skin color stayed the same throughout one's entire life and dictated one's special elemental ability, though the potential for each induvidual varied regarding, parentage, class, wealth, their environment, and numerous other factors. The various abilities only numbered 6, with only a few others containing more then one. However, like almost every rule there are always exceptions, in this case, it was the fact that someone with pale color was regarded as a weakling with no special elemental ability.
Most of the crowd started laughing while others remained silent with small smiles on their faces, some having seen the kid aroind before. Even Gunta began laughing after seeing who had spoke so audaciouly to him.
"Beat it shrimp before I decide to pound you as well." Gunter said, turning his attention back to the girl who had long since accepted her fate. She had only glanced up for a second to stare at the new figure before lowering her head once more.
"You two, if you put her down, pick up the girl's food and give it back to her I promise not to hurt you." The young boy said, flashing them a charming smile as the 2 grunts began laughing, the dark orange one giving the girl to the Bultor before casually strolling over to him.
"I think you got it backwards kid," The Trino said to the young man. "Our power levels exceed 45, so what in the hell do you expect to accomplish? Surely you dont think you can take all three of us." The Trino put on of his hands on the young man's shoulder with a smile.
The young boy smiled, took a deep breath, put two of his fingers into his mouth, and blew with all his might. There wasnt any sound, at least none that could be heard as the young boy smirked slightly and slid his hands into his pockets.
"What was that?" Laughed Gunter who had moved from his stance, his hand still glowing as more fire poured into it and was compressed into a single point. "Was that your attempt at whistling?"
The boy smiled. "My name is Juda Aburriah, remember that after your dead. Sabira, you can go ahead and chow down." This was followed by a loud howl and a sharp growl as a demonic S class beast landed in front of them.
Throughout Oterra, various beasts roamed the world, some were sentient and intelligent, whike others were dangerous and werent capable of thinking beyond their next meal. The beasts were ranked from G all the way to S and each beast above level C was dangerous in its own right. Some could even be kept as pets if adopted the moment they were born. However its said that each and every member of the S ranked monsters, which were untrainable, was equal to a level 50 warrior, almost on par with one if the 15 kings. The worst of the danger beasts was given the name The Wolf Dragon and was classified as the number 1 strongest and ruthless beast in existence. Even as a baby it was said to be able to kill 3 level 20s and a handful of level 10s. It wasnt a monster that anyone could tame. The instincts on it made it almost impossible to kill and its desire to be free made it unwilling to accept human companionship. With scales along its back and armored wings that could disappear at will, the monster was truly a force that only a few could fight against.
"Is....isnt that a Wolf Dragon?" someone from the crowd asked as he slowly began backing away. There was a slight murmur throughout the crowd as many began to take their leave at rather quick speeds, with only a few remaining behind.
"Wait wait wait, why is there a wolf dragon here?!!!" screamed the Bultor as he dropped the girl and turned to run.
"Sabira, you can start with him first, feel free to eat him. Take as much time as you like." Juda said, a calm look on his face.
The wolf gace a low growl, it mouth beginning to secrete drool as it began to run after its prey, chasing it for a short distance before catching him. The wolf then let him go and allowed him to continue running before catching him. This continued for a bit before Juda interrupted.
"Hey Sabira, if you keep playing with your food the other 2 will get away." exclaimed Juda, pointing at the fleeing figures of two Trinos one red and the other a dark orange.
Sabira quickly ripped off the throat of his prey, blue blood dripping from his fangs as he pushed off the ground and flew after the other two.
Juda watched for a couple of seconds before turning his bright gold eyes towards the Sympto girl, who was sitting there with wide eyes and a fearful gaze on her face, clearly afraid of the new arrival. Juda simply smiled and bent down to pick up all the food the girl had dropped, putting it all back into the sack, before placing it back at her feet.
"I'm afraid that this is where we part ways my beautiful Sympto girl." He nodded towards her and was going to walk away when he felt a hand grab the back of his white t-shirt. Turning his head, he saw the light green girl gripping the back of it and seemed to be holding onto it for dear life.
"My name is Amanda." She said, her face blushing a light shade of green as she slowly stood up. "Please stay for a second, I wanna repay you."
Juda simply smiled, "No need, after all, most of that food was stolen, correct?" He glanced at the bag and then into her crimson colored eyes, a sharp contrast to her light green skin and flowing evergreen hair. "You probably have a reason for stealing so much food so while you were busy here, I went over and paid for you. So theres no need to owe me anything, just give that food to the people who need it."
Juda winked at her and began walking away before getting stopped again, this time from a hand with a suprisingly strong grip.
"Your not gonna leave a defenseless girl here all along to fend for herself right Mr. Aburriah?" Amanda said, grinning in a slightly evil way.
'erm, your defenseless?' Juda thought as he turned around to face her. 'Sure as hell doesnt seem like it'
"Okay where are you headed? I'll gladly take you there, and you can just call me Juda. All we have to do is wait for Sabira and then we can be on our way." Juda looked back and stared off into the distance at Sabira who was tearing up the pieces of meat that remained of the two Trinos.
"Is he your pet?" Amanda asked, slwoly moving to hide behind Juda as Sabira finished his meal. "He doesnt look very friendly."
"He doesnt like the word pet. He's actually my one and only friend and companion, and tends to bite people who use the word 'pet' in front of him." Juda watched as Sabira stretched out his wings and took flight, heading straigh back towards him. "I recommend not saying anything to upset him, because I don't control him, we're brothers who each do our own thing."
Juda turned and smiled at her. "Oh and he can talk too and can also understand everything you say. So be careful about what you say to him, because he wont hesitate to bite you.
Amanda shuddered a bit as Sabira landed in front of them, his large wings kicking dust and dirt from the road. He was rather big, covered with light gray fur and had huge wings that spanned at least 12 feet from tip to tip. His eyes were golden like Juda's and contained intelligence in them as his eyes bore its way into her own.
Sabira turned his head to Juda and gave a small questioning growl, turning his head to the side. It appeared he was asking a question but Amanda couldnt understand any of it, but it appeared as if the young boy was more then capable of it.
"Yeah," laughed Juda as he walked up and ran his fingers through Sabira's fur. "We're gonna be taking her back home. You okay with that?" Juda looked over at Amanda and winked before shifting his gaze back to Sabira.
Sabiras wings disappeared and he nodded his rather large grey head. He emitted a low growl and then looked at Juda who stared right back before breaking out into a smile.
"Okay then lead the way oh beautiful Sympto, lets go on an adventure to the place you want to go to so bad."
