"The video that has been released is not enough proof against Lu Yifeng since his face and yours were hidden in the dark, that's why your statement is important." Detective Chang said.
Unless they had solid proof, the police wouldn't be able to hold Lu Yifeng for long. They can only hold him for five days before they release him if they didn't find enough evidence against him.
