Menglin led Ye Chenyu by the hand.
"Alright, Xiaoyu, let's get in the car," she said.
Ye Chenyu blinked his amber-colored eyes. He didn't want to leave and he turned to look at his father and grandmother even as he continued to walk forward.
He even shouted loudly, "Dad, you must remember to bring me home!"
Ye Hao's eyes were cold and hard. He didn't respond to the child and didn't even blink at the child's words.
He had never liked this child and now that he found out that he wasn't his biological son but Ye Yi's son, he hated him to the car.
The car zoomed off after Ye Chenyu got into the car. This house became very quiet and empty after Ye Chenyu's departure since the childish laughter could no longer be heard from the halls of this house.
Xia Jingshu couldn't help but wipe the tears from her eyes. She had to bear the anguish herself.
