Not wanting to scare Tuan Tuan, Lin Nuan looked down and revealed a smile at him, turning his attention away. "Tuan Tuan, are you hungry? Why don't we eat first and then save some food for Papa?"
Tuan Tuan shook his head and said with determination, "Wait for Papa!"
Lin Nuan smiled and nodded. "Then… Before Papa gets back, Mama will allow Tuan Tuan to eat a few pieces of chocolate, alright? Don't tell Papa!"
Hearing that there was chocolate, Tuan Tuan's eyes immediately lit up, and he licked his lips. He nodded and gave Lin Nuan a thumbs-up. "Mama's the best!"
His childish voice sounded extremely cute.
Lin Nuan and Tuan Tuan sat near the villa's windows and could easily see the situation outside.
She held onto an orange and was peeling it, her thoughts wandering. Her eyes kept on staring out of the floor-to-ceiling windows.
