Tuan Tuan sat on the bed and let her wipe his head and body.
He put on his own pajamas and underwear. Lin Nuan couldn't help but smile as he carefully buttoned himself clumsily as he sat on the bed. She kneeled next to the bed and helped him button up.
"Mama…" Tuan Tuan scratched his chubby little hand shyly and nudged in her direction.
"Yes?"
Lin Nuan finished with his last button and looked up at the fresh Tuan Tuan.
"Can mom give Tuan Tuan a kiss?" Tuan Tuan asked carefully. As if he was afraid she'd reject him, he raised one chubby finger and said, "Just once…"
Lin Nuan felt her heart soften up. She planted a kiss on his shining forehead.
He hugged her arm in satisfaction and rubbed his cheeks against it. Leaning in her arms, he listened to Lin Nuan read some stories to him.
Lin Nuan intended to make him fall asleep as she told him the bedtime stories, but didn't expect to end up falling asleep together on his bed.
