That evening Jiang Yuyan met Alex for dinner and returned to the Jiang residence.
As they sat for the dinner, Jiang Yuyan informed, "Mother, I met Alex today."
It surprised her parents while Jiang Yang was not affected at all. He was expecting his sister to take such a decision and he was ready to see her fall. Whatever anyone will try to tell her, she would just do what she wanted.
"Some people learn their lessons only when they go on the wrong path," Jiang Yang commented as he continued eating.
Jiang Yuyan looked at him and he replied, "Don't worry. We are always here to take care of you whatever you do."
She frowned and looked at her parents. "We have decided to get engaged but it won't be announced outside. Just keep it between the families as I don't want media attention. After that I will leave for the USA with you as Alex is returning there as well."
