At Mr. Wong's home.
Lu Lian woke up late as she was tired to her bones because certain someone kept her awake the entire night. When she woke, she was alone on that unfolded couch. It reminded her of the previous time when she and Ming Rusheng had spent the night together and when she woke up he was already gone.
'Where did he go?' she felt worried and tried to sit but she was sore all over, 'Damn!' she cursed.
Just then the door of the workshop opened and Ming Rusheng entered, holding one tray in his hands. She turned her head to look at him and felt relieved seeing him there.
"Are you finally awake?" he asked while keeping the tray on the tea table and came to her.
Still wrapped inside the warm cozy blanket, Lu Lian looked at him, "Where did you go?"
"I went to see an old man," Ming Rusheng replied.
"Oh! I thought you left…"
