Once in the past
A question I was asked
How can you believe
Something which you can't see
At that time
My fath was weak
And my knowledge shallow
Soon after that
I strayed from the path
Blaming God for
The pain of my past
My mind was all scattered
And my soul felt like it had shattered
But now returned to the faith
Is my answers as follows
You can't see the air
But you know it is there
The leaves that rustle
And the grass that it blows,
Do you feel that gentle breeze
That's cressing your skin
Go ahead breathe it in
The same for Christ
Jesus the Lord
Just like the wind
Air that stirs up the dust
You see him
By his every work
And miracles received
If You but had eyes
Then you too would see
He is
In every hand he had blessed
That then stretched out to heal
In every blade of grass
In which life you can feel
It is by these
That I know he is real
